My kids love this thing, but we almost returned it in the beginning. It would turn on for a few seconds, then fade to a black screen. That's because we didn't plug it in first. Once it's charged, it looks pretty good! And tons of games. Like most these knock off things, a lot of weird ones. But for that price, just having Mario and Mario 3 is worth it. It's no "original gameboy", but it holds hundreds of games, plays tetris very well and is certainly worth the small price for anyone who is nostalgic for the handheld games of old! I haven't played with the TV/Screen hookup at all, but I've paid more for a single cable than for this little device with all its accessories ... show more
