Through the years I have used different types of hand warmers. They worked ok but always had a foul smell. This particular warmer is amazing. Lasts up to 12 hours on low, it also has a medium and high setting which you won't need because it's very warm on low. What you will need is the little sack it comes with. While it is comfortable to hold on low without it, it gets too hot to hold on medium and high without it. I use this for ice fishing and my treks through the woods on winter days. Get one, you will love it. P.S. it feels wonderful on my tennis elbow also. UPDATE.... I'm now only getting 3 hours on low setting with a full charge. ... show more

First of all, I bought two of these for my wife, and then borrowed them when temps hit below 0 with wind chills down to -30. My experience- Overall, the unit performed well. While held in the hand at that temperature, they were not especially effective in getting up to temp noticeably or feeling that nice hot feel. However, when placed in a pocket, those suckers got super hot and felt great to take out, or warm up the hands. Pros: Reach higher temps than other options Ergonomically shaped Usb C compatible Able to be used as a battery pack Easy to read display for temp levels Different temperature options Cons: Plastic housing in the middle can crack easily on a fall, especially near the ports- 1 of ours is cracked already Despite the carry bags, the metal on the unit is very vulnerable to scratches, so don't imagine it will look nice for very long. Conclusion: definitely recommend. Purchased several more for my father as well as gifts ... show more

I'm very pleased with the performance of this warmer. It certainly heats up quickly. The battery life seems strong, although it does take (what seems like) a long time to recharge. The seller responded quickly to a issue I had with a previous unit. Their Customer Service was awesome. Overall, the warmer is easy to use, does a great job of warming up. Its size makes it easy to hold when outdoors walking etc. Very satisfied and would purchase again for a gift or if the need arises. ... show more

I purchased one of these handwarmers for winter golf. Used it twice so far. Once on medium (50deg) and it easily lasted 18 holes approx 4.5 hrs and had some charge left. I found the med setting to be a little too warm for the 45 deg ambiant temp, but it sure was nice! The second time I used the low setting (45deg) which seemed about right. The drawstrings on the included pouch dont stay tied and the warmer kept sliding out. I put a spring loaded drawstring keeper on it to solve that problem. The product arrived with two separate items. Both damaged One had scratches on the button and the case the other has scratches on the button. This makes me believe that they were used and returned previously. I figured out that the power button is on the left side not the center and you have to hold it for about 3 seconds to get it turned on. Then quick taps to change the temp. My daughter is a cheerleader so she wanted them for cheering into the playoffs and I coach football so my QBs need them as well. So far so good. We will see how they hold up to repeated use. -------------------------------original 1 star review---------------------------------------------------------- Neither unit would power on and after a charge was applied they would still not power on despite recognizing a full charge. So I am returning these and I will update once the replacements arrive. ... show more

Bought two of these, and when they arrived I was impressed by the packaging because they were clearly meant to be sold as gifts. With that being said, the 1st one when plugged in, tripped my surge strip, then got extremely hot at the charging port and failed to do anything when the power button was pressed. The 2nd one worked fine....for 24hrs then decided to turn itself on and refused to turn off(took 6hrs to die). All that pretty packaging doesn't mean squat if one of these things catches fire, explodes, or injures someone. That's what QUALITY ASSURANCE people do, make sure that your product is safe for end use by consumers. And just so you don't think I'm being a complete jerk, I will offer a suggestion to you for future product improvement. That EXTREMELY THIN metal you have as a skin on these warmers(like 2 gauges thicker than tin foil) appears to be subseptible to scratches/dents, further degrading the lifespan of your product...switch to silicone, because it DOSENT BURN. My final verdict on your product....sugar-coated-BS. DONT BUY! ... show more
