Purchase this canoe for a river table project and was okay with either red or green that would compliment the blue river. Well I got this ugly brown canoe with a hole in the side and a string to hang it through the bow and stern. Those holes will be magnified 10x in resin. So unhappy. And what a waste of my time to have to return some because of an inaccurate description! ... show more

I took the liberty to spray paint over the original color with a navy blue paint (Being sure to tape off the natural wood portion) and the wood/navy blue combo turned out exceptional for the photos. Actual wood crafting can be seen and appreciated. Excellent for play with cowboy and Indian figures. I used these for a kids re-enactment display of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The detail of the canoes was a real hit.

This is a great little find! ...Very good quality for the price. The canoe measures 1-1/2"W x 6-3/4"L x 1-3/8"H. The overall quality is better than you'd expect from a mass-produced "Made in China" item. Each part is nicely finished and fitted, and the exterior paint is nicely done. The paddles are glued in. The description states that specific color preference requests are welcome, and the seller was very responsive and helpful when I requested a green one for a project I was doing. I'd recommend this for a project or just as a small decoration for around the house or cabin. ... show more
