This is the PERFECT mount for a Z Fold phone on a DJI Remote. The mounting method to the DJI remote is solid, and simple. It mounts to the actual body of the remote instead of the slide out spring loaded antenna/phone holder like many others do. I had an extension type tablet holder that was simple to install, but it was too short for the Z fold and would push the power and volume buttons on the edge of the phone. This holder is easy to attach and remove from the DJI Remote. The phone clamp is the perfect size and shape for the Z fold. The spring holds the phone tight, but not too tight. The phone holding clamp can be turned 90 degrees to hold the non-folding edges of the phone, which lines up well with the speaker holes and the USB-C connection, leaving the volume and power buttons reachable at the top making it easy to change the volume on your phone and to unlock it with the power/fingerprint reader if you set it down. If you adjust the holder right, it will balance well enough to set the remote down with the Z Fold attached without worry of it falling over. Out of the box all of the adjustment joints on the holder are super tight. I would be careful adjusting them, the entire thing is plastic except for part of the joints that are metal. You probably can adjust the tightness, there are some nice solid star screws, but I'm just putting it in one position and leaving it there. An awesome deal for the current price I paid ($22). I'm sure this would work great for an iPad mini. It might be a little tight for anything 10inchs or larger. ... show more

This thing works perfectly with my DJI RC N3 remote. I decided to skip the built in screen and instead picked up a 10th gen iPad on sale. 100% the way to go unless you’re trying to condense for travel or something. This holder fits my iPad that’s in a protective case, weighs almost nothing, and mounts to the controller without putting any weight on the antenna. I haven’t used it a ton yet, but it feels very sturdy and it collapses down nicely to fit in the carry bag that came with the drone. I think I saved about $200 by skipping the in-remote screen and spent about $300 between the iPad on sale and this holder. So for the extra $100 you could get a way bigger screen and don’t need to spend way more for a different tablet holder. ... show more

People complain about the lanyard interfering with the control sticks. Yes it does.... but it is such a simple work around that anybody with any slight bit of ingenuity would figure arrive at a solution. Simply make a small loop out of parachute cord with a knot on the end and thread it through the back slot. See my picture. It works great and no interference with control sticks or whatever. I would rather do this simple mod than own the other type of flimsy ball mounts. and yes I unfortunately bought one of those first. I purchased this mount after another "ball" mount type that is just to flimsy.... And ball mounts always fail. This tablet holder is built like a bridge you would drive your car over. This a very sturdy mount. AND its snug in it's moving parts. You don't want something sloppy, loose, and flimsy when flying. I wish I had discovered this tablet mount before wasting money on the other flimsy ball mount type. ... show more
