  • It fitts perfectly
It worked perfectly! The way it works with controller is cool too.

  • You can also tape a LASER to it.
The media could not be loaded. Taped a laser to it and used the motor arm to press the button to activate the laser on controller press. Used on a Mavic 3 pro. It does have unlimited range as described cause it uses the drones bottom auxiliary light to active the payload unit.

  • Almost perfect!
This thing is really great. It’s light weight and real nice and simple. You can get 500+ drops on a charge. There is one issue though. It uses the light on your drone to activate the release. It’s genius. But I’ve encountered an issue several times due to the sun being low on the horizon. I have lost two payloads. There is a gap next to the light sensor that allows sunlight in there In the right situation and it releases your payload uncommanded! It’s an easy fix though. Just fill in that gap with something. I designed and 3D printed a part to fit in there and block the light. I also figured that light could get in through the glass where the lights are on the Mavic 3. It has two lights but only uses one, leaving the other exposed. Both lights are covered with a single piece of glass though. A piece of electrical tape over the unused light totally solves this problem. You could also avoid this issue by flying when the sun is high in the sky, on cloudy days or at night. Aside from that easily correctable issue, I love this thing. I’ve been having a lot of fun with it. ... show more

  • Does NOT fit DJI Air 3
Tested it out with a flashlight before mounting it to my drone. Sensors do not line up with DJI Air 3. Kind of a bummer but did return it

  • It works the as long as your Mavic has signal! Awesome!
The bait caster/dropping device and landing gear are made well, works off a photovoltaic sensor eye that's set off when turning on your spot light. Tested and it's released 50 different payloads with 100% success rate. Yes, I'd recommend... P.S. This fits Mavic 3 classic, cine and Mavic 3 regular. I'm not sure if it fits Mavic 3 enterprise ... show more

  • Does the job
I finally figured out how to get it to work on the Mavic 3. I saw no point in using a lanyard the way they suggest. If you do that, you've lost the lanyard when you drop what's attached to it. SO, I had a very thin jewelry necklace that had two tiny rings on either end. So I permanently hooked up one ring to one side and the other end of the lanyard to the part that gets released. ... show more

  • Failed to open
The device failed to open when triggering the aux LED; I could see the LED come on from below, but it didn't open. This ultimately resulted in the payload getting caught and a crash destroying the drone. I cannot recommend this product.
