It looks extremely nice in her snake tank doesn't take over night to hydrate like others so easy to replace with clean ones I have a 30 gallon tank and used just a quarter of the block we got so it was really good for the price.

Comes in a thin sheet but a 1/8 of a package filled two moss poles. It had a funny smell at first(not sure if it’s normal) but it seemed to go away.

I used this moss to cover up a palm we had to help keep it moist and prevent the dirt from drying out as shown in the picture. You can also see how much moss was left over after I spread out the moss about a 1/2 inch deep around the planter. The moss worked out great and I was more than happy with not only the amount for the price but also the quality. Sadly (And to no fault to the seller) our package was ripped and part of the moss seemed to have already gotten wet as it slightly expanded, and because of this our moss did get mold in it after 2 days in the planter. Thankfully I was able to clean out and save the plant, but if your package is received open, I would get a refund, or toss it just in case. ... show more

I never bought moss before so I don’t have anything to compare it to. Here is my take- it came in a vacuum sealed package. It looks small however it expands a lot. My main issue is that it is not green or greenish. It looks like dead moss. I have seen moss on other people’s pictures and their moss looks greener. So I’m not sure it that’s a quality issue or an issue at all. I heard that hermit crabs like moss but mine don’t like it. Well, they don’t like this moss. The price is reasonable- same as other suppliers. There is no funky smell.. smells like moss. It hasn’t molded yet and it’s been couple months. So not bad. I only used a little as it expanded so much. Will hold on to it to use for flowers. I would buy again ... show more
