I came across this one which also comes with a nice case to keep everything contained and protected. I cut my 2 year old's hair with this without a problem. I've been doing home haircuts for my family for years and have had several pairs of hair cutting scissors. I got this kit specifically for the thinning shears but am impressed by both pairs of scissors. They are noticeably better feeling than my previous pairs - they feel higher quality and have a solid heft to them. The blades are sharp and cut hair easily. The thinning shears are pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it (and watch some YouTube tutorials!). Even the little metal hair clips are nicely made, they slide into hair smoothly and hold firmly. The carrying case is a nice touch to keep everything organized. These are just okay. They cut hair but it takes a few tries to get everything, even with smaller sections. They could be sharper. They're fine for a really basic trim at home, but they're definitely not professional grade and I wouldn't recommend them or buy them again.
