These clippers and trimmers should serve a lifetime for me and my Family... They seem to be very durable, are extremely precise in their cutting line and provide a very clean, close "Buzz Cut". All the guards seem to be made from quality plastic that will wear well. The jaw adjustment has a positive click as you're adjusting the level, letting you know it's kind of "locked in place"... All in all, I'm very pleased with this set and will recommend it to Family and Friends (that is, if I don't just buy it for a household as a gift.) ... show more

    • Whoever made these clippers, knows what they’re doing!
I needed new clippers to do my husbands hair and beard upkeep(mainly the beard, he only gets two hair cuts a year). First off, they come FULLY charged. We have only recharged them once each since getting. Sound is minimal for a set of clippers. The cutting ability through my husband’s thick hair is like a hot knife through butter. Glides right though! Easy enough to put guards on and adjust as needed. The fact the smaller one is type c is amazing. Means less chargers needed if taken on a trip. We’ve had them for a few months and as long as you oil regularly, and take care of them, they will stand up to any test. Super durable and feels great in the hand. Obviously only good for cutting hair, because that’s what it’s built for. But I could see these being good for groomers as well. ... show more

This set is awesome. The charge lasts VERY Long. In fact, we've had it for months now and have never recharged them. The clippers themselves are super sharp and fairly accurate. pretty comfortable to use to cut head hair, give a clean shave on face or head and create sharp lines and edges. I was so excited for this cordless hair clipper set. For years, I've had to cut hair where ever there was an outlet available, and often that meant being in poor lighting. This changed all that. I can cut hair where we I want, and position myself in the best lighting. It's a real game changer! The clippers are very easy to use, cut effortlessly without tugging, and the charge has lasted through 2 hair cutting sessions for a total of 4 haircuts in the past few months, with juice to spare. But here's where there's a problem: the clipper guards are pretty cheaply made. They are quite flimsy. At first glance they didn't seem to be much different than the ones from my old kits, except that they have metal on them. But they aren't as flexible, and the second time I cut my son's hair one of the teeth broke off. Thankfully not while cutting his hair, but while wiping them off afterwards. I didn't pull on the blades any differently than I do on my previous sets, and I never had teeth break before. I've had cheap sets and moderately priced sets over the past 29 years of cutting my family's hair, and none of them have ever had this issue. I feel like it really negates what is otherwise a great clipper set, because how are you supposed to use a great set with teeth falling off the guards? I'm experienced, but not professional, and I need those differently sized guards to taper my family's hair. It's too late to send the set back, but I am very disappointed. ... show more

So impressed by these. I can give my husband the fastest hair cuts ever with how well these cut. The only downside is the smaller pair does not include a #2 blade which I always use to get to the stray hairs along my husband's hairline that are so fine and in odd places that the larger sizes will not get them. We got a great deal on these, purchased during a lightning deal sale. These were bought after returning a different set that were awful and sizing was off on the clipper attachments. I highly recommend these. Oh and battery lasts quite a while too! Easy to charge when needed ... show more
