My 12 y/o daughter loves this comforter cover so much that she has purchased it twice! She had the pink one on her bed for the past 2 years (which held up surprisingly well after multiple washes). She recently decided it was time for a change and ordered the same cover (in the beige color). This cover is so soft and pretty! I would say it is more of an ivory/cream (vs. beige), which we were happy about. Just realize that this is a cover, so it is very thin. Ok, let me break it down for yall. First this is a DUVET set NOT a comforter set. This means that the "blanket" is actually a design cover for the duvet insert, which is your comforter, ok, you following me? That is the reason why the blanket or duvet cover has a zipper, to place the duvet insert(comforter) in. This is also the reason why its not fluffy as the picture, because there is nothing inside yalls to make it fluffy! If you want the fluff, GET A DUVET INSERT OR COMFORTER to place it in. -Now on to my pros.😇 #1:This is a very soft set indeed. Like very soft and airy. And I love the largeness of the queen size. #2:The zipper is hidden very well on the pillow covering and does not bother me at all. #3:Can be slept in with or without a duvet insert but I like mines with some fluff. 4: hypoallergenic(at least to me) I have eczema, so I had sensitive skin. This does not make me itchy what so ever so big bonus! Though just to be sure, wash it throughly. -Now to the cons.😡 #1: It sheds(not a lot though) Which is to be expected since its faux fur, I would just brush with a soft bristle brush, wash it on cold, or try lint rolling it. Mines is a bright red so shedding will probably show on clothing. Like I said, I can just lint roll it. #2: The dye It does not stain when dry, but I got a feeling it would stain the heck outta white or light colored clothes in the washer so I would recommend washing it alone a few times to lessen dye colors. I bought two of these twin duvet covers for my granddaughters. As we were putting on one of the duvet covers, we opened it up and found an almost 4 inch desiccated caterpillar. There were stains on the duvet cover from the caterpillar.

I found this to be great for the price. I’m sorry, but bedding is expensive, and if you want better quality, pay more. For $50, I got a queen size duvet and two shams, and it’s soft, cute and functional. The sizing for her queen was good on side length. For people complaining it’s not “full” like the photo: it’s a duvet cover…you have to put a blanket inside. I put a down comforter, and it’s nice and fluffy. ... show more

The Amazon photo makes the "fur" on this blanket appear dense and plush. I was shocked to discover it looks more like a shag carpet than faux fur. I have bought two faux fur comforters in the recent past for half the price and yet they were very thickly "furred", almost like rabbit fur and have survived several washings. Not sure if this will wear well. It's like a balding animal. I don't know if the photographers purposely blurred their photos to make this blanket look fuzzier, or if it is even the same product. But in my photos, you can see that the strands of fur are very separated and it is so thinly distributed that you can see the under-cloth. On the plus side, I love the silky feel it has and that it is light weight for year round use and it's cute on my bed. I love the flannel fabric underside. I am debating to send it back, mainly because at the cost, I would expect a thicker plush texture so I don't think it's worth the $49.00 I spent. Also please read the description closely because the photo shows two pillow shams, but it actually is only one. It does say one, but I mislead myself because I saw two in the photo so was anticipating two. Makes more sense for it to be two, especially at the price. I got the twin size, so maybe that explains it. The sewing seems to be good quality. It has zippers both on the pillow case and the spread. It isn't advertised as a down quilt cover, but since it has a zipper, I guess that's what it was designed for. Well, after a week I realized that a duvet cover isn't a throw. It's not a stand-alone bedspread but is meant to have a quilt inside. So I ordered a duvet quilt and inserted it into the faux fur cover. It really did seem to fluff it up a lot more! Unexpected. Now it looks more like the photo on Amazon. I'm not referring to the thickness of the quilt, but rather the fur itself looks fluffier . Super warm too. ... show more
