This is a great frame. Ignore those who say it was difficult to put together. My husband assembled it alone without much reference to the instructions. It is heavy in the box, but once out of the box, it was manageable. My ONLY complain is those wicked, sharp, steel legs and corners! YIKES! I scratched up both legs in the first day, and have scars to prove it! I found an easy solution though. I bought "Furnigear Edge and Corner Guard" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08QS2GS9R?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details and that fixed the problem cheaply and easily. Another plus, with the rubber furniture guard on, my elastic bed skirt stays on with no problem, and then covers the furniture guards so they can't be seen. My old bedframe collapsed. I got this one because of the cost. It's doing well so far. It's only for beds with no box spring so keep that in mind if you need one to replace a set. The only surprise I experienced were the number of pieces it came in. I was expecting two halves welded together. This is not that. This is truly a need to assemble bedframe. They say you don't need any tools but in the instructions they suggest you put the screws in with a drill. But for the fact that the description is correct, my my is it easy to set up very strong and sturdy did I mention affordable? No amount of turning and twisting was able to prove the description wrong, completely noiseless lots of steel slots makes my 20 inch very heavy mattress oh so comfortable also I really love the fact that there are holes to add a head and foot board well made I'm a woman and was able to lift the box myself my husband and I put it together in no time piece of cake I shipped it to Jamaica Island it was well packaged and protected from any damages. 100% recommended ... show more

Ordered this for my college apartment and it’s been great. Assembly was quick and easy, and it is very sturdy. It’s tall enough that you can store quite a bit of stuff underneath as well. One thing to note: frame is a bit larger than a twin mattress, so my mattress tends to slide around a bit if I move around too much, and the corners of the frame protrude a bit, so need to be careful if walking around the edge of it. So, I got it yesterday. It is VERY heavy (seems MUCH heavier than stated 43 lbs) and a long box (about 7 ft long). It will take two people to move it around (or one muscle builder gorilla). I Tried putting it together today. One person can do it, two would be easier. BUT...... one of the two main support pieces (part A) missed quality control and was welded incorrectly so the bolts holding the frame together could not be inserted. Amazon customer service was helpful but was not able to send me just a replacement part -- I have to take it apart and get it back downstairs. It will have to be returned. On a good note, the frame seems to be made of a heavy gauge metal and should give excellent long term use. Take the time to review the instructions and it should not be hard to put together. While it comes with an Allen wrench, an electric drill is recommended for assembly (use an Allen or star bit) for a tight fit of parts. It will sit high off the ground allowing for good storage under the frame. (Unfortunately, frame has no wheels, so get it in its final position before putting mattress on it). All said, I'm opting for a replacement to be sent to me as I feel this is a good product (and I was unlucky enough to get the dud). It will take a week (vs 2 days for the original), even as a prime member. I will open downstairs and check parts before bringing it upstairs this time. UPDATE: I was so annoyed with the frame that I gave the leg a wack with a hammer and low-and-behold I was able to get the holes aligned sufficiently to get the bolts in and fully assemble the frame. This frame would have gotten a 5/5 rating if I didn't have all the aggravation. So, final rating is a 4/5 stars. P.S>called Amazon and cancelled the return and the replacement orders. ... show more

Great purshase easy to build, all parts were included. Keep in mind you will kick the frame and it will hurt lol. I purchased some pool noodles cut them up to fit till I get use to it. As for delivery it was sent to the wrong address but I found it.

Any size smaller than Full, no headboard slots for mounting, however, Full, Queen and King have cutouts for mounting headboards. With that said, the "bolts" that tie the frame together will interfere with headboard mounting brackets. It mostly works, depends how much of a perfectionist you are, but headboard mounting posts won't rest perfectly flush to the frame, the frame's "bolt" heads interfere. Mostly sturdy, it's what you would expect. A noticeable concern, the corner legs have no side support (i.e. webbing" to resist torsional stress. As sufficient weight is applied, the corner legs will bow outward. How much weight, well, how active are you in bed ?!?! :) Not as tall as a conventional box spring and mattress, but, much higher than a platform bed when all said and done. No clips for bed skirt, so, to use a bed skirt will require some McGyver thoughts to keep it centered on the frame. ... show more
