Very soft and warm. They are very long, not very wide but stretchy enough to stay in place well. I am 5'5" 125 lbs and got the medium, they looked like they were going to be too tight but fit fine. Glad I went with the medium. Very soft, the right thickness for winter tights and the added fleece layer inside really adds warmth. They do look like they're going to snag easily but very happy with them so far.
