We've had lots of laughs with this already. She looks very real even "in person" - when I first brought her out to show my husband, our dog growled at her then hid under the desk. I originally left her at the top of the stair landing, but had to move her as I found her quite startling myself. In photographs she looks even more real - there is a 3D quality to them. The image "in person" is sharp (I think she wore this outfit/tiara combination in 2011, in Perth so it's a fairly recent photo) and the cardboard backing seems sturdy. She folds up and can be stored in the shipping box when her royal presence is not required. Not mentioned in the listing, but it also comes with a QE mask (the same photo as the standup). I saw this standup in a store at a local mall and loved it. I went in to ask if the standup was for sale - it wasn't. So I checked trusty old Amazon and there it was! This was a gift for a friend who loves the royals. My only complaint is that the picture is just a teeny bit blurry - possibly from blowing it up to "life size". But it is a small complaint. Bought this for my step-mom, when she threw a birthday party for the Queen Mother earlier this year. Lots of photos were taken with Betty. Great fun! Plan on hiding this in the shower for her to find some time in the near future.

I threw myself a big 30th Brexit birthday party and she was the HIGHLIGHT!! Everyone wanted a photo with the queen herself. It looks so realistic in photos and gave us all such a giggle!
