I got this for my kids to help with handstands, backbends, etc. Ages 3, 5, & 8. This is very large for them, but we have some foam mats, and stacking them on either side of the barrel, they’ve been able to use it. In just a few days they were making good progress with their skills using it. They’ve also played with it for hours just bouncing & doing non-gymnastics things with it. I am 5’8” and I like to use it to stretch my back. It is so large that I can bend backward with my feet on the couch and my hands still don’t touch the floor. I have also done some handstands over it, and at 40 I think it’s fun! The pump works quickly to inflate it. We’ve only inflated it once, holds the air well. Definitely recommend! ... show more

This thing is cool, you can decide how firm or soft you want it by how full you inflate it. It is very small though, and I mean I did read the dimensions and knew how big it would be, but I mean for gymnastics there isn’t a whole lot my kiddo can practice on a 48” square.

I have a 4 and a 8 year old and it is too big for both of them... that being said they have had a ton of fun using it and it's provided hours of play. Easy to use and come with electric pump! Strong electric pump filled this pill up in a minute. Takes a beating from my kids bouncing on it. I use it for lots of different exercises, mostly for back extension. I really love this. Supports my 200# frame easily. My kids love it for doing flips.

This is a nice gymnastics mat and would also be a cool pool float for sitting. Be sure you have a pump on hand that will fit the HR (Halkey Roberts) valve, otherwise you won’t be able to inflate it. She is really enjoying this roller. Has lots of fun working on her flips. This is thick sturdy material. Inflates easily with provided compressor. It’s big so be prepared but it really works nicely!

I love it! I used my yoga ball every day and it just doesn't get the stretch I need. Now keep in mind I was a gymnast growing up and now that Im older Ive lost a good deal of flexibility in my back and hips. I dont expect to do a back handspring again, but Id be thrilled if I could do a walk over so Im training. Now this thing is quiet large but the pump that comes with it filled it in less than 2 minutes, and the pump even works on my paddleboard. WINWIN!!!
