I was thrilled that my second grader and her friend were able to do these puzzles completely by themselves. It took them about 30 or 40 minutes and they had a really good time. My 6 year old will need help with this project. I thought it would be great for a classroom craft but it will not be. Needs a lot of adult supervision as some of the peel off spots are pretty small. Love the concept but the execution needs a little work. I would order them again, but I’d keep in mind that it’s not a solo stay busy craft but a hands on bonding craft. ... show more

My 6 year old really enjoyed doing this, and made a point to say how much fun it was. There's plenty of stickers and plenty of foil, that being said some of the stickers don't make much sense (example: let it snow in pictures) there's no way to pull just the letters off so I'm not sure how to use this with the foil. Also, if using with kids there will be a mess! But easy to clean. Overall a very huge hit (for adults and kids!). ... show more

    • 100% worth it- a great MESS FREE craft for young kids
This is the PERFECT set to keep little ones busy and in the holiday mood. Very easy to use for small hands- pretty much just peel, rub and stick and everything comes out beautifully! Any kid who loves stickers and shiny stuff (and what kid doesn't love stickers and shiny stuff!), will love this craft. Our 5 1/2 year old grandson needed a little help with the first one, but got the hang of it quickly. A Lot of times, he gets frustrated with crafts because they are either hard to do alone, or the finished item doesn't come out looking "like in the picture". The best part is that this set makes it so easy for young ones to make a beautiful, giftable craft that looks just like in the picture- all by themselves! The set comes with plenty of colored foil and mats to make different scenes. We even used a couple of the cutouts to make sparkly ornaments for the tree. **BONUS****NO MESS! Nothing wet or sticky to worry about like glue or paint- just easy sweeping up of a few bits of paper. Would definitely purchase more of these- I hope they have them for every holiday. ... show more

Highly Recommend!! This is perfect craft for all ages! My young grandkids - ages 5, 4, 2, and almost 3 played with this for the longest time - the 5 and 4 year old played with this all afternoon. Us adults had fun making designs as well, so this would be fun for older kids too! Preschoolers may needs some assistance at times, but honestly this is not hard to do at all! Great for fine motor skills. Kit includes several background boards, plenty of foils, and a a generous amount of designs. Foil squares can be used multiple times until all the foil is gone. Super easy to do: Choose a background scene, Choose designs, peel off backing to stick to the background board, peel off top backing to reveal sticky surface, choose a foil (shiny side up!), press foil onto sticky surface, remove, and the shiny foil remains! Some designs work with one color foil, others have different areas to peel off so the designs can be colorful with different colors of foil. This isn't hard to do - my grandkids figured out very quickly how to do that. In one of the attached pics the table looks chaotic, haha - then we did organize the foil colors into bowls and helped by removing the paper backings as we went. Mainly we organized the foils so that they didn't accidentally stick to any of the designs (when paper was peeled off) while one of the kids was reaching for a foil. Once something sticks to the design it's not easy to redo that area. That happened a couple times but not often. This is an EXCELLENT craft for any time, and definitely one to bring out for kids at holidays or family parties. ... show more

My friend organizes a volunteer day where we all get together and make fifty Santa gift cards for a local charity drive. I didn't realize exactly what these were when I ordered them, but they were the big hit! They come with backboards, so kids can build little scenes, but we put them directly onto the gift cards. Forget the "kids 4-8" thing. We were a group of ladies sitting around a table having a great time, enjoying wine and hors d'oevres, choosing colors, sticking the foil on the foam, and decorating around the appliqués.
