I used it for sitting still for three hours at a time in 20 degree weather waiting to see a ungulate.. I am 5-10 and 180 lbs and found size Large to be perfect. . I wore this over a T-shirt and light pull over fleece sweater. It fit me well and was not baggy, although it could be adjusted to be so. I wore a heavier weather proof jacket over all of this. The heat at the high setting was very satisfying. The battery discharged about halfway in three hours at that setting. The battery charge is indicated by four LED lights on the battery. The vest is soft, very light and quiet. The battery sits in the left front outside pocket; the same pocket you might put your left hand in. The right hand is the lucky hand, not having to share the space in the right pocket. There are two chest pockets that provide more storage options. There is one horizontal eight inch heating wire in the collar. This vest is good for sitting applications in cold weather or cold fall mornings at the start of a hike until it warms up. . There are a couple features I would have designed differently. One is the on off button. The button glows when the vest is on. This is visible if sitting in a shadowy area and trying to be concealed. The work around is to cover it up. The other issue is the front zipper inserting and zipping from the opposite side. In other words the zipper tab is on the left. Small detail. After wearing vest for over a week in the low 20 degree temperatures during hunting it kept me quite comfortable . The trick I learned was to put one shirt on than vest and put other shirts and coat over vest or you won’t feel the heat. I used lowest temp and I was nice and warm. Every once in a while I put it in high temp to get a warmer blast of heat, battery lasted about 6-8 hours, I wore vest on a long drive it was like having a heating pad on my back ! ( Nice) The battery takes about 8 hours to get a full charge. I found that you can use other charging units with this vest . ... show more

I’m 6’3” @ 225# - I ordered the XL - and this fits great!! The vest has 4 pockets - 2 side packets (the left pocket houses the battery ) and 2 chest pockets- the vest is also expandable- as there are 2 side zippers that allow the vest to be made larger. There are 3 heating levels- it comes with the battery. The only negative thing is (my opinion)….. the main zipper - it zips opposite of what we are used to to here in the US - not a big deal - just different than all my other zip jackets All in all - great value - quiet (for hunting) - the inside is a soft fleece type fabric- very warm and cozy ... show more

I love the color and the way the vest fits. Its soft and would be quiet, but I was expecting it to get hotter. I found myself questioning if areas were even getting hot. I have not used in extreme cold yet, so maybe I would notice better in colder weather.

The vest worked great for the heating function, nice and warm. The delivery was on time, etc. The side sippers for three sizing worked perfect, I even ordered another vest for my hunting partner. However, the material used for the side panel is very thin and has come apart at the stitching. In my opinion it cannot be repaired. I hope the seller will see this review and replace or refund the 1/ex large/3 ex large vest. I will revisit my rating after I am contacted. ... show more
