Feeling a bit nostalgic, I ordered Drakkar Noir for myself (I’m a woman). Unfortunately, the formulation is a far cry from what it used to be. Yes, Drakkar was very recognizable and even what some might call “loud”, but it was very successful for a reason. Sexy, classy, and very versatile, very pleasant, universally loved by women. This was worn a lot by my then-boyfriends in the early 90’s. The new version lacks the sophistication and playfulness. The lavender accent is way too strong now, and then it dissipates completely after 10 minutes. Disappointing. The cologne is a shadow of its former confident self. ... show more
