  • Best thing overall on the market
I’ve tried many gutter guards over the years and nothing is as good as these. They’re so good that they used to be cheap and now they’ve raise the price a little bit but there’s a reason for that. They work and I mean really well you can just blow them off or get on a ladder and take the stuff that’s on top off but blowing is easier. The only drawback I have found is that if the squirrels decide they might want some for their nest they might try to chew some of it up. The only other drawback would be if you have an asphalt shingle roof, then over a year or two you may want to pop them out and knock the granules out and then just stick them back in and you’re good to go. Otherwise you don’t have to do a thing. Try them for yourself you won’t regret it. They get five stars from me and I am in Texas with plenty of trees. Gutter brush works too but they always look crappy with all the leaves that get stuck in them. Not to mention they cost even more. And all the other ones with slots and stuff like that they get filled up with little sticks and stuff and you got a clean them out and that takes a long time and you have to do it at least once a year but they do work. Good luck. ... show more

  • It works. You still need to clean it but it is nice and dry.
They are easy to install and keep everything including pine needles out of the gutter. But, maybe once a year I have to clean off the top ( I have tons of pine needles and helicopters). However, cleaning is a breeze. I scrape mine with a plastic putty knife (not sharp) and blow it with a leaf blower on a dry day. It is very fast and not wet and mucky because everything dries in the sun on top of the gutter guards. I may not need to do that but it is easy and fast so I do. None have become clogged yet for two years. You may not need to even do that if you have only leaves and helicopters. But pine needles are a special problem. Still - it keeps them out and keeps the water flowing. ... show more

  • Super easy to install and provides ample excuse for a 6-pack
I ordered 4 boxes with each having 32' of gutter guard. It was cheaper to buy 4 boxes of 32' than one box of 144'. They should really figure out better pricing. Anyway, first box arrived today and I quickly installed them in the gutters on my shed. The word "quickly" is an understatement. I had 24' of gutters on my shed and these were installed within 10 minutes. 5 minutes of that was spent drinking a beer. They were super easy to install. The gutters on my shed are mounted with gutter brackets instead of gutter nails. The gutter brackets sit lower in the gutter than gutter nails but it was still incredibly easy to install these right under the brackets. I guess you could cut a notch out for the gutter brackets/nail but I didn't even bother because I don't believe it would help the application at all. Just stuff them under the brackets/nails and you're good to go. I can't review the longevity of these as I have just installed them but I can say that they're super easy to install and I can't imagine any reason why they wouldn't hold out leaves/debris over time. The price is great and the install process is even better. I'm very happy with this purchase. I recommend drinking 1 beer for every 24' that you install. 144 feet of gutters would be a 6-pack. That should do you good and make for a perfect Saturday project away from the wife and kids. ... show more

  • Does the job, mostly.
This is the fourth, and most expensive, gutter guard we have tried. We have two large maples, which shed buds, then seeds, then seed stems, then leaves. All gutter guards we have tried have had some problems with clearing debris, but this foam insert seems to handle things best. (Disclaimer: it hasn't seen a leaf season, yet) It handles light and medium rains well. A heavy rain can shoot water over the gutters in the roof valleys, especially if there is some debris that hasn't washed off. Very easy to install, and doesn't seem to have the risk of blowing off, as some others have done. Will hve to wait to see how it handles snow and ice. ... show more

  • It works!
There is a lot of rain and wind in my area pretty much year round with pine trees. So pine needles were a major consideration when purchasing this product. I have three downspouts that had gotten clogged prior to using the product and so water was not coming out but overflowing over the top of the gutter. This caused extra heavy weight and even caused a portion to sag. After getting that fixed and installing the GutterStuff, all downspouts are working fully with water pouring out. I recommend this product. ... show more

  • Great product Prices are messed up.
The only problem I see is pine needles will stick down in the holes but still not to hard to get them out. I don't understand the pricing on this item. Buy one for $48.00 or so and buy two sets as one and pay three times as much. So I ordered the single one and said I wanted two and it was only $90.00 or so. You really have to check the prices on Amazon with some of these sillers. ... show more

  • Foam is a plant growing media
This is a decent product to save money on gutter protection. Be aware though, it sits below the top of the gutter. Things will still get caught in the gutter and need to be cleaned out, albeit much less often. The biggest issue is that if you have trees with seeds, especially maples, the foam wedges are excellent growing media for young saplings. I would recommend a product that doesn't capture seeds and debris over this one. ... show more
