This was the replacement offset connector. The previous was mm off of being 3" x 4" and I struggled for hours trying to get it to connect properly with my brand new existing gutters downspout, to the point I had to deform and cut up my new down spout to force a terrible fit. Then once together it turns out that all the bend joints had micro-fissures and leaked like crazy on all sides through the aluminum. I requested a replacement & loathed having to take apart & put in the new replacement that I almost thought about siliconing the whole piece. But it arrived & I really hated how bad the connection looked that I decided to switch them out. I was so nicely surprised when it literally slid together so smoothly and snuggly in about 5 seconds. I didn't even need to use 1 screw to connect the pieces like before. There is only one micro-fissure on the bend, but I am so happy with the fit that a small spot of silicone is worth it. I recommend this product, BUT if your gutter pieces don't connect easily the first time, send it back for a replacement. I think my original was a manufacturing error that resulting in me waisting so much time & hacking up my new gutter downspout trying to make it work. Now if it would just rain! ... show more

Offset was around 3” which I couldn’t find anywhere in the description but decided to take a shot and see if it would work. Painted mine brown to match system. Offset was a slightly more than I wanted but absolutely workable.Large end fit nicely over factory round hole downspout adapter. Small end was extremely snug fitting into downspout extension. Still better than the the box store option of two elbows which was impossible in my install. Had to install seam out as I was needing to jog in closer and not avoid obstacles as most need to avoid. Messes with my OCD but I’m sure it looks fine from your house lol. ... show more

These were exactly what I needed. Very sturdy and not made of cheap metal, these were very rigid and worked out great. Pricey yes, but hey - none of the big box stores had these. Would buy again if I needed more!

I like that it’s a minor offset for around small differences instead of having the big elbows where bird nests can build, I’m glad the project used white so it blends in seemlessly and did just the right of offset for what I needed, I will be purchasing more for upcoming work. The offset is about 3”

This leaks at the folds in the aluminum. This is not a connection issue. Where they fold the aluminum to make the bends, the metal has torn apart. The slighly-melting snow on my roof was enough to cause it to drip enough of a leak that I know this is going to be a problem when it really rains.

I needed these offset gutter downspouts to replace the old ones that I had and they worked perfectly. The finish was smooth, the color was perfect and the aluminum seems like a pretty good quality. It does the job perfectly.
