I used this while I was wearing braces. In the beginning I put it on all my front braces until my skin adjusted. Through the three wears I had the braces, I would use it whenever I had a wire sticking out and it worked perfectly. It is very easy to remove, and it usually comes off all in one piece, although sometimes there is a little bit between the wire and the teeth, which comes out very easily with a toothpick. I accidentally swallowed a piece once or twice, and I didn’t experience any ill effects (but obviously you shouldn’t be swallowing it all the time). I tried generic once and it was no where near as good. The other stuff was too soft, wouldn’t stay in place, I had to use twice as much, and didn’t come out as smoothly. This wax brought instant relief to my 8 year old after her braces were adjusted. So far we were trying to use the wax that was given to us by the orthodontist's office and it was absolute garbage compared to this. Barely stuck, never stayed beyond 15 mins. This wax is obviously softer, the precut pieces are optimized in size for use, therefore very helpful. Her cheeks were bleeding profusely after the sitting, we instantly applied this wax on the pokey parts and it stayed put for over 3 days! It may not be recommended to keep it that long but we avoided brushing that area because it was so sore, but salt water rinses and mouthwash was meticulously done. She could eat properly and the wax didn't come off! Sticks very quickly and I didn't have to dry the tooth too much before applying! It comes off quickly too. I'm super satisfied. This wax is slightly scored , but the pieces don't just break off as it looks in the photos. The pieces have to pulled lose just like other brands without the scoring. The photos had me fooled.

My aligner in one spot was ruining my experience. Inner cheek was cut badly. Note: Now the first two times I placed the wax, it instantly fell. I invested 20seconds in “molding” the wax and bomb, instant relief. Well worth it. Highly recommend!

It serves its purpose to keep my braces from rubbing my inner cheeks raw but just doesn’t stay in place for long periods of time. And soon as I forget I have it on and eat something…it’s gone. I’ve swallowed so much wax it’s ridiculous…LOL
