  • Absolutely Fantastic !!!
I wrote a review on another Tarot book not too long ago and it wasn’t too great. Then I came across this one and had to tell myself multiple times that it needed my rave. So simple and direct. I have not found any editing issues as of yet which really attracts me even more to it. I thank Stefanie Caponi for taking the time to make sure her book was properly edited and organized. I found it very helpful, the breakdown of each card in multiple different aspects that a querent would want explained when having a reading done. I am not advanced at reading tarot, at least not yet, yet Guided Tarot is certainly encouraging me to do so. In Stefanie’s book she gives other sources to look into in order to expand one’s learning of Tarot, whether it be cards or literature. I give this book five stars and recommend for anyone wanting to learn tarot. Excellent!! 🥰 ... show more

  • Great for Beginners!
I bought this to assist with my readings and it really helps. I also like the fact that this book also tells you the interpretation of a reverse card as well and breaks it down in terms of career, love, spirituality or a general reading. I also love the introduction and the instructions on how to place your cards down. Its a very thorough book that I would recommend to anyone starting out. ... show more

  • Perfect book for beginners of tarot
I’ve been interested in tarot for a few years. I was gifted a beautiful deck several years ago by a friend which did come with a card-sized guide book, but being so small there wasn’t much to go off of. I dabbled for a few weeks but often felt frustrated at the limited guidance offered by the little booklet. I recently backed a kickstarter for a gorgeous deck (The Lighted Window tarot deck). I very much love it but I had the same experience with the (even smaller!) tiny booklet with very brief information about the meanings of the cards. I was inspired anew to seek out resources to learn more about the meanings of the cards. I am SO grateful and relieved to have found this book. Wow. This book has *everything* I was looking for, and much more that I didn’t even know I wanted. A actual-size color illustration of each card (from the classic Rider Waite deck), keywords for both upright and reversed readings, an explanation of the artwork of each card, and a more detailed explanation of potential interpretations. There’s a brief sampling of some common spreads, including the famous Celtic Cross, which always felt inaccessible to me before finding this book. There’s also a section in the beginning that explains the meanings of the various elements of each card (court cards, numerology, the suits and the elements they represent, etc). It’s all fascinating and extremely illuminating. This book has increased both my understanding of tarot and my enjoyment of the entire process of reading the cards and learning more about their meanings. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about tarot. ... show more

  • Simple and Insightful
One of my favorite tarot books. Great for beginners. I love the tone, simplicity, and layout of the book, as well as the emphasis on intuitive readings and meanings. I like it so much that I wish it were longer or offered an expanded hardcover/coffee table version, but sometimes less is more. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Informative and modern!
It's pretty informative. I was hoping it had more details but this is def a good beginning book. It is explained modernly, not like a book I have from the 90's that's religiously driven, biased, and outdated thinking. I especially love that she explains the 7 of swords as timing. Yes, it also represents sneaking, but the real "story" behind it is that the guy is stealing the swords to prevent the war, not be a greedy you know what. Think about it, if you're going to war, why on earth would you all go party in the distance and leave your assets/defenses entirely vulnerable. 7 of swords is more "getting what you need at the right time" than the other common descriptions that are viral out there. Tarot is interpreted by YOU though. These books give us an idea. Plenty of readers don't identify with their origional meanings at all. So stay open, read as much as you can, and consider this moder, straight forward, no nonsense book! Best- a fellow intuitive and medium from generations of them. ... show more
