I wore these boots to the No Values Concert a couple months back and I loved how comfortable my feet were, given that I was on my feet from 12PM-1AM. I walked, ran, and stood on my feet while at the No Values Concert and the boots supported my ankles/heels pleasantly. The style of the boots fit my classic punk rock look with my high waisted jean shorts, black cropped halter top, and my high top black socks. Stylish, good material. Durable, used a ton of times and it’s still perfect. Hurts a little bit on the ankle to begin with but once it softens with use it’s very comfortable. Value for money. Would recommend and would purchase again.

    • Pretty but Impractical (too small, not adjustable)

I'm a true size 9, and ordered my size. These look great but a super tight squeeze to get into. Very narrow along the base and tight toes/heel. The cross straps made it very difficult to adjust laces, but because they are static and also too tight, created pressure on the tops of my feet. Great quality material, but the non-adjustable straps just aren't practical and they run about ~1/4-1/2 size too small for me at least. My feet fit in much easier without any socks, but the cross straps still made it feel too cramped along the top and created unwanted pressure. If you do order, I recommend a half size up, but the top straps might still cause issues. I didn't really notice much padding (quite hard), and because they were so narrow, insoles were absolutely impossible to use both with and without socks. I was really excited for these, but the straps are I think a design flaw and because my feet did still sit flat in them, I question if a half size up might end up being too big and cause other problems. I'm returning vs exchanging as I wanted these for potential dailies, not just a fashion wear on special occasions, and the non-adjustable top straps mean potentially limited range of motion and the laces can only do so much regardless of actual size. ... show more

I thought buying a well-known designer made boot would last me much longer than previous combat boots that were super cheap, with no high expectations.... But, GUESS what? Afte 3 months I noticed the sole coming away from the boot on the right side of the left boot....I was like ugh, no biggie - I can glue if need be. Then, it began happening to the other boot. So, clearly it's the glue that is no good...but THEN I couldn't figure out why my feet were hurting so much. Granted, I walk a lot - walk my 1 year 4 month old Dobie-mix in these...to the park, on the trail by the river...so, they got worked -but not more than other very cheap combat boots I have beaten up over the years, but those even last me at LEAST a year. So, typically my boots have mud and debris on the bottom from park outings with doggo and such - so I have never really thought to inspect the soles.....as these were only a few months old!!! BOTH boots have cracked completely across the bottom of the sole - from side to side. Which explains why my feet were hurting so much. I haven't even worn them in a month because of this. I meant to make a review sooner, but I have been really busy with work, puppy, and commissioned portrait artwork.... It would be nice to get a replacement, but why if they may end up the same way?? Would be great to have a refund so that I can get some boots that will last me longer than 3 months! DO NOT EXPECT LONGEVITY WITH THESE! Clearly these are only to be worn to look stylish - not to actually LIVE & walk on sidewalks all the time....will NOT be buying any Guess shoes again.... ... show more
