My Keurig sat on a wood cabinet with no protection underneath. Both cold and boiling hot water badly stained the cabinet top which was a beautiful glossy oak. The white water stains were BAD. Used this cloth and though it took so elbow grease, in 5 minutes stains were COMPLETELY gone! I found rubbing hard with strong downward force, against the grain, worked best.     • A bit of elbo Grease and WOW!
We had a potted plant on our table for a few months and did not realize the moisture from it had made a 6-inch wide water mark on our solid oak dining table. I ordered the Guardsman Water Mark Remover Cloth after reading the reviews. I thought I'd have to put some work into it, and did. But the results were wonderful. Used 1 cloth thoroughly (w lots of elbow grease) on large water spot on older wood dining rm table. Spot was from hot casserole dish put on table cloth, without trivet beneath it. Cloth lifted much of “white” discoloration, but spot not entirely gone. Will use 2nd cloth to lighten spot further. Not perfect, but better. Much easier than stripping & refinishing! ... show more

I don't write reviews often, but I feel I need to write this warning since the description conveniently doesn't mention it. I recently acquired some watermarks on my wood desk that I have been dead set on removing. I tried every home remedy I found online with marginal results. I decided to kick it up a notch and try some professional cleaning products. This one looked as good as any. I received it today and quickly whipped it out to see if this was finally the solution I needed. Now, it did say on the package I should try to use it in an inconspicuous spot lest I remove a matte finish. To that, I say where is this fabled inconspicuous spot?? Ruining the finish in a place I'll see less is still ruining the finish. Second, I'm not a woodworker. What's a "matte wood finish" anyway? Third, after a dozen other attempts, I didn't have any patience for half-hearted warnings. So shame on me. Anyway, now I have a VERY shiny little section on my desk, AND it didn't even get out the watermark! (Admittedly, I am also not a photographer, and my picture doesn't do this shiny spot justice.) Do NOT use this product if your wood is not already VERY shiny, or you will regret this life choice as I have. Also, it didn't even work. I'm calling in the professionals.     • Didn't work for me
I was trying to remove water rings on our dining table. Maybe my table isn't great wood. Maybe the stains are too old. But it didn't do anything. And the cloths are very greasy so wear gloves when using.

I had some haze on my wood table likely due to heat from plates and cups. This cloth removed the white marks to the point that I can’t really see where the marks were. It did not take an incredibly long time to remove, maybe 15-20 minutes of rubbing in different directions.

I wish I had taken. “Before” picture, but I made a fresh white water spot on my beautiful coffee table and tried some home remedies I found on google( white vinegar and EVOO, baking soda paste, etc..) nothing would make this glaring white spot budge. I came across this online and saw the reviews for it and decided to give it a try. It worked like a charm. I was skeptical at first because it doesn’t give you an estimated time of when the spot should start going away, but trust me, just do what the instructions say keep wiping until the spot goes away, it absolutely will!     • Won't work with old and deep water stains
The pads were dry in both packages. Perhaps it was as it should be, but I expected some moisture. Did not work at all with my table which had pronounced water stains left there many years ago. So I will leave this as a cautionary tale for others to review before ordering this product. (product label does state that it might not work in such cases). Still the question about the dryness of the pad still remains. My rating pertains to my situation and perhaps has no merit as a general review but I had to give a rating ... show more
