  • Could not remove old axle assembly ; tried for 2 hours; would not come loose
Had to return the part; It wasn't Amazon's fault or the manufacturer. It's a difficult job if you want to tackle it. Two of us could not get the old axle assembly out so we put it back together with the old axle.

  • This does fit left and right side.
At first, I thought this was wrong. 2007 ion have the same axles on both sides. If yours is splined when it's pulled, you actually pulled out an extra piece. That splined end comes off and just put back into transmission
