  • Very high quality for induction stovetops.
Color: Brushed Steel Size: 6 espresso cups
I am impressed with the look, fit and finish of this product and it works well on the induction cook top. Clean up is relatively easy, although some areas are more difficult to access without a brush. I don't have any areas with sharp edges. There is an art to mastering the technique, compounded by a lot of misinformation on video websites.......but I got there. ... show more

  • I use it every day, perfect coffee every time
Color: Blk Steel Size: 10 espresso cups
I've been using this coffee maker an average of once a day since I got it in May. It always makes perfect coffee for me! I grind 4 tablespoons of coffee beans per batch with the maximum water level (just barely touching the bottom of the valve in the reservoir, fills 2 large mugs) and the coffee is strong and smooth without off flavors every time. When tightening down the threaded connection, there is no need to over tighten it. If all of the pots are machined the same, I've found that threading it on until it is just a little snug with the handle oriented over the valve (like in the picture) is just right. This is a very efficient way to get the most out of your coffee beans, it takes at least a couple of weeks to get through a typical 12 ounce bag of beans. Cleaning it daily is a little bit of a chore but it's worth it in my opinion. If you're a busy person and don't have time to wait for it to boil and then clean it every day, it would still make a nice treat for slow mornings and your days off work. During the time I've had it, I moved and have used it with 2 different gas ranges. Not all gas ranges are equal, the range I'm using currently finishes making the coffee in about a third of the time of my previous one (less than 5 minutes starting with cold water). I'm not sure how it is on electric but I imagine it would take quite a bit longer. An aluminum pot might be better for an electric stove (since it conducts heat quickly), but if you have plans to ever get an induction stove like I do this steel pot would work while the aluminum pot would be useless! I love this thing! It's well made, so satisfying to use, not that expensive, and I think it's going to last me for years to come. ... show more

  • Terrific espresso!
Color: Blk Steel Size: 6 espresso cups
All the positive reviews convinced me to buy this little guy and I'm so glad I did. Easy to use, fast and tasty espresso in about 5 min on the cooktop. I have an induction stove and it works great. I also realized when we go to airbnbs I can take it along in my essentials box and know I don't have to figure out someone else's coffee pot. I've been using a Keurig coffee maker for years that brews a whole pot from grounds or individual k-cups, but either method always leaves a bitter taste so I relied on creamer to make mask that. The espresso I brew in this Grosche pot reminds me of ordering from a real coffee shop. I steam milk for a latte while the espresso brews on the cooktop and it's all ready in about the same time. I debated buying one of those fancy professional-for-home >$1000 espresso makers but the price, space it requires and cleanup turned me off. This little pot is so easy to clean up and put away! Love it! ... show more

  • SS HANDLE GETS REALLY HOT!!!
Color: Brushed Steel Size: 10 espresso cups
I have a gas stove, so the stainless-steel handle gets really hot! I have to use a potholder to pour when it is ready. I see now they have them coated so I am assuming easier to handle. I think it is very nice looking and well made. Even though I use a very good expresso blend coffee, the flavor is not as good as an aluminum Bialetti unfortunately. I stopped using that because I didn't want to continue the unhealthy aluminum hits every morning with my coffee, so I went with this stainless-steel version. If I use less water, I can get a stronger flavor. ... show more

  • It's a keeper!
Color: Brushed Steel Size: 10 espresso cups
Okay, anyone who knows me knows that I don't write tons of reviews. And I certainly don't write positive reviews if I don't believe in the product itself. That said, here we go... In the last 15 years I have gone through about seven different models of stove top coffee maker. I must admit that price was a factor, and that I tried to keep it as reasonable as possible. Under $50 if possible. And basically what I always ended up with was a version of the standard model coffee maker with the multi-sided fluted base, just maybe with a slightly different handle design, but otherwise basically the same. Everyone reading this knows exactly what I'm talking about. And trust me when I say, none of those purchases ever got a positive review by me. Until now. Admittedly, I just got it a few days ago so it's not like I've brewed 100 pots with it already, just a couple. But that ought to be a testament to how it looks and feels compared with all those other bad purchases that I've made over the years: that something I've had for less than 4 days can make me come in here and leave a positive review, should really mean something to the people reading this. There's not much more to say, but for the more curious people I will add this: consider just the coffee strainer alone: the one on this model weighs triple as much as the coffee strainer on the cheaper models. Ditto for the rest of the unit as well. Very well made, strong like bull, works like a breeze, and has a great design too. It's a keeper. ... show more

  • Grosche Milano 10 cup Espresso Pot
Color: Brushed Steel Size: 10 espresso cups
It was difficult to attach the top part of this Espresso pot to the water chamber. Maybe it was a defective item... exactly what I don't need first thing in the morning when I'm trying to make my Coffee.
