    • Great for a home shop
I have used mine for over a year. It's solid and a pleasure to use on softer materials like aluminum and plastics etc, but also handles steel just fine, as long as you do not force it to mill too fast. It shipped in two crates and is too heavy to be unpacked and setup by one person unless you have a crane or hoist. The base is a bit small and the resulting setup feels unstable if not anchored to a wall. I built a larger base and repurposed the Grizzly base for another machine. The DRO is very handy and it's nice that it runs on 110VAC so no special wiring was needed. Overall it's been a great purchase and has held up well. ... show more

    • Buy something else
Spend a bit more money and get a good machine. The fiber drive pulley has been replaces twice the few times I have used it, once when I was drilling a 1/2" hole and then I blew a fuse again drilling a 1/2" hole. I wouldn't recommend this for anything other than toy making.
