My first review was of the outdated version of this product. The Velcro on the first version was weak and the sponge kept falling off. THIS VERSION IS MUCH BETTER. It does a good job cleaning the grill. feels pretty sturdy. I would recommend this grill brush.

After reading all the stories about small coils of wire breaking off of grill brushes and ending up in/on food, I decided to try something different. I have only used this new brush once, but the generous amount of steam generated impressed me. Cooking residue on my grill's grates quickly disappeared. Found this grill brush while searching for one without those metal bristles. No matter how I put the pad on, it wouldn’t stay attached to the brush while scrubbing the grill. I tried wetting the pad first before putting it on and also putting it on dry. Neither made a difference. It did a good job of cleaning the grill when the pad would stay on. After two uses, the Velcro that the pad gets attached to started peeling off. This brush is a waste of money. ... show more

It’s a game changer! Used the grill brush today and it changed my perspective how BBQ grill is cleaned. I used a traditional wire brush and scraper as long as I can remember but this changed everything. I've used this a handful of times already, and it's a great option for a wire-free brush. I love how it can scrape and steam-clean the grates. The only issue I've noticed is that the pad attaches loosely to the handle. It's never fallen off, but we'll see how it handles over time.
