Features

  • EASY TO USE - The round and stiff tines of the GroundsKeeper work differently than the flat, flexible tines of other rakes. The angled, spring-loaded tines dig in, requiring no down pressure and allow you to rake standing up, taking pressure off your back
  • VERSATILE - Gets the job done! Excels at raking leaves, mulch, pine straw, sticks, acorns, gravel, animal bedding and more while also excellent for de-thatching lawns without damaging grass. Remove leaves and debris from snow, long grass, bushes or shrubs while allowing green stems to pass through the tines without harm
  • DURABLE - Extremely lightweight and durable, the GroundsKeeper II features a no break co-polymer head, fiberglass handle and replaceable torsion spring steel tines that are built to stand up to the rigors of professional use. You can work longer with less effort than traditional, cheap or disposable rakes
  • EFFICIENT - Cut your raking time by up to 25%! This rake self-cleans with one pass over the ground when flipped over and pulled towards you, allowing leaves, thatch and needles to easily slip out of the tines
  • FEATURES - THE GROUNDSKEEPER II is extremely lightweight at only 2 pounds. Features a 21-inch head, 28 steel tines and a 55-inch fiberglass handle with a swivel hanger for easy storage. Some assembly required. Green color. BUY LOCAL-Made in the USA!

  • Great for Removing Lawn Moss and Thatch
Color: Yellow
I thatch lawns for a living. Own 7 gas powered thatching machines. This is a fantastic tool to keep your lawn in top shape. If your soil is hard as a brick then water a LITTLE bit first to increase the quality of your work and ease of use. This tool is best for small to medium lawns. Better than a electric thatching machine. Great for spot treatments on larger lawns. Hundreds of my clients have purchased this rake and I've got lots of thank yous for this advice. I live in Seattle, WA. Used on Perennial rye grass and fescue. Occasional blue grass. It's a rake. Don't do your whole lawn in 1 day. Space your raking sessions out. You should really use this rake multiple times a year. It's really a cool light tool that's a fantastic investment. Best prices are in winter and early spring. This tool regurly sells out and costs a lot during the summer and fall months. Thats my experience with this rake over the last 6 years. Watch out buying this rake elsewhere other than Amazon. Scammers will list this rake and will hide shipping rates of $100 or more. It's really a thing. By the time the rake finally arrives from those shady sites those scammers have closed their business and then opened a new one. Yes, this works because who would expect that to happen when buying a lawn rake. I live in Seattle with lots of tech savvy people that did not take my advice. Buy the rake on Amazon or wait. Best of luck to you and happy raking. Stewart In Seattle ... show more

  • The best rake ever.
Color: Yellow
This really is the best rake ever for dethatching. Super lite weight and it glides through the grass and scrapes the dead material from the dirt surface... brings it right out of the grass with very little effort. I've used it on several sections of my yard and now I'm waiting to see the results. It's been about a week and it's raining now so I should see some new growth over the next week in those sections. If I get any positive results in those sections I will rake more a d more until I've covered the entire yard... 3 acres. ... show more

  • Brought my dead lawn back to life!
Color: Yellow
This past fall, construction workers working on my neighbors's house broke my irrigation line and instead of notifying me, they just turned it off. Since my sprinklers were set to water in the early morning hours, I had no idea they weren't running until it was too late. My front and back yards started the brown and die, and like a fool, I didn't think the brand new sprinkler system was the culprit. By the time winter rolled around, with the grass going dormant, I knew I was in trouble. When spring rolled around, the grass showed no signs of returning to its lush green state. Instead, it was yellowish brown, matted to the ground, and full of numerous weeds...a real eyesore. I had several lawn care companies come out, trying weed and feed, and all sorts of other tricks, to no avail. After some Googling, I was confused why none of the companies suggested dethatching or aeration as a means to allow the new seed and fertilizer to contact the ground/roots and actually do its job. I decided to take matters into my own hands. Every top 10 list I could find listed the Groundskeeper II as hands-down the best rake, so I knew I had to have one. I waited weeks for one to become available and snatched it up as soon as it was. When it arrived, I was surprised by its simplicity. After a simple, albeit tedious assembly, I was outside dethatching like a madman. The rake was incredible. With barely any pressure, it pulled up dead grass and lifted dormant grass just enough to allow it to breath. Because of its width, I was able to cover a large area in no time. Initially, my yard looked worse, but I was confident the roots were finally getting the water and sun they needed to thrive. After a few weeks of weed and feed and some generous watering, my lawn began to return to its origin luster. Fast forward to summer time and it's never looked better. If you want a simple rake that wont break tines (or backs), this is the rake for you! ... show more

  • This rake saved my orchard.
Color: Yellow
Let me start by saying this rake is fantastic. I've had a dead pine fall through the center of my orchard last year, and after cutting it all up and moving it, I could seem to find a way to get all of the inbedded branches and twigs out of the ground. I've tried hardware store rakes and they are not sturdy enough to pull sticks out of the ground. I've tried my landscaping rake but it just bounces and skips over everything. So I read some reviews and found this beauty, first impression, the tines look like something you'd find on farm equipment, thin, but very sturdy and spring loaded. This rake ripped all of those branches out of the ground, from the tiny little twigs, to branches up to 3-4 inches wide, it even dug up branches I couldn't even see. Up until now I've been weed wacking this whole area, but now that I have the means to clean it back up, I can finally push mower it again. I had to add a picture of just one row I've done, it was a quick pass and I only went over it once, but the results are astounding. This is only one row of my orchard and I've got lots to go, thank the heavens I've found this rake. I am a little old fashioned and would prefer a wooden handle, however I understand that keeping it light was the idea, it is very light and not very tasking to use, and it's made in the USA. Don't hesitate, I can't think of many better ways to spend 50 dollars. ... show more
