I purchased the matching napkins prior to purchasing the tablecloth. Once again, poor quality control. The "clean finished" seams were pulling. I was hoping for better construction. The tension on the sewIng machines that are used in China are too tight. I attempted to stretch the seams as I ironed the tablecloth. It worked somewhat. I am hoping, once I wash the tablecloth and the matching napkins that the seams do not shrink and pull even more. I hope that a polyester thread was used rather than cotton. Cotton threads shrink. Polyester threads do not. You really do get what you paid for when soft goods including table linens are made in China. ... show more

We will be using this tablecloth on our extended table over the holidays. We can't attest whether or not it is stain resistant as we haven't put it to use yet. However, the fabric seems to be of good quality and it fits our large, extended table.
