I had to cut/hard wire this into my truck's system. It wasn't difficult. I did like the brightness of the cargo light and brake light. Heck of a lot brighter than the OEM one. I would recommend this for sure but you would need to know basic 12V wiring and have some heat shrink butt connectors to make sure the job is done right and permanent. ... show more

Lasted all of 4 months and started losing lights. They are slowly starting to not light up any more. Now I've got to find another one that actually works for a little bit longer than a few months.
