UPDATE 06/10/2023: This is not a major issue but, it's worth mentioning that they tend to load up with wood chips quick and, at least in my experience, require a very thin metal pick to remove them as compressed air will not. They still perform as advertised and I'm still pleased with my purchase. I'm replacing three wooden, 6" x 6" posts on my front porch and wanted to add a distressed look to the new PT posts. Practicing on an older 6" x 6" I was able to recreate some of the imperfections seen in antiquated lumber. The grooves in the pictures were done with the curved cutter. Their effectiveness depends on the amount of control and pressure you apply to the grinder. I used the minimum to create the grooves in my project. I found the curved cutter was better suited for what I was trying to accomplish but, the flat cutter worked equally well at removing material. From my experience, if you're planning to purchase them is to take precautions as they do remove a lot of material creating a major amount of fine dust, much more than any other woodworking machine than I've ever used. I highly recommend that they be used outdoors using a full-face shield or enclosed safety glasses and a respirator or at least a good dust mask. ... show more

After experimental use on scrap wood, I was able to dial in just how much pressure and cutting angle to use for this wavy American flag project. Is easy to use, BUT, be vrry, very careful since it can kick back hard if it hits a hard wood knot. Hang on tightly and enjoy your project. Would highly recommend to any avid wood worker. Using this on my grinder to clean up edges of some wavy edge siding I am installing on my workshop. Works very well for this purpose. Cleaned up 1200 lin ft of siding with no issues.

Good fit for my Hitachi angle grinder. Impressively chewed thru the odd angle wood cut for which I bought it. Just be careful with it; angle grinder is the most dangerous tool I own, and this blade could to a lot of damage in a hurry.

This blade is no joke! I bought it to grind down some stumps with my angle grinder. Granted, it does take a bit to do so. But wow! It goes right through the wood like a hot knife through butter 👍🏼
