So we haven't tried it out as the Grand baby won't be here until December but it seems very sturdy. There is enough padding to provide comfort for her. This car seat is stylish and cleans easy. Feels very sturdy and safe for our newborn. The harness is easy to adjust and tighten. The base is very straightforward to install using the locking mechanism. I like that this car seat has the option to install without the base but I haven’t had the opportunity to try it yet. My one complaint is the button to adjust the handle can sometimes be sticky but it is not bad enough for me to care. I really like this lightweight car seat. Definitely worth the price ... show more
