I bought these during my recovery from major surgery and they were great for things I dropped. I didn’t have to bend down to pick up they folded and fit into my walker so I had them handy at all times. Just don’t use them for cane. They don’t hold up they jam.

I wore out my old pickup tool and was hoping to find the same one again on Amazon, but, no luck. I decided on this one since the length was what I needed. The handle has a nice grip and the trigger is easy to engage. The fact that it folds is not necessarily a perk for me, since I consider this more a weakness than a perk (the more parts, the more can go wrong). The grabbers work okay, but I would prefer that the tips of the rubber close closer together at the tips to make it easier to pick up the small, thing pieces of trash. ... show more

I don't really like or use the folding part but it is a good quality device. I bought a pair of cane clamps for my walker and it fits great on the walker frame opened to full length. I'm 6'1" and it clears the floor 2 1/2". Always handy. If needed it will pick up BP pills or if I bunch up a foam 5' foam floor mat it'll pick them up. The magnet is a good after thought for the tack or screw you drop. Didn't think I'd ever use it but now don't know how I got along with out it. You know, kick the walker and the tacks on the floor pointing at you. The nail part is almost always steel. ... show more
