  • This is an amazing machine it has everything…
My machine was delivered in perfect condition slides so smoothly. Because it has the straps on the bottom I can do the leg presses that I do I’m physical therapy then I unhook them for upper body and so many other exercises. This machine is heavy and it needs to be for the great stretch and all the different exercises. I can’t say enough. I used to have a total gym I loved that machine but I had to let it go. The machine I originally bought was a total gym, I had to send it back. It was too light to do all the exercises it was so cheap. This machine is solid every exercise is an amazing workout. Plus the attachments on the bottom are exactly what I’m using in PT. It’s a total gym but you have buy each machine with gr8t it has it all. I put it together myself it was heavy but it was so easy. I highly recommend this machine. I’ll have this machine for the rest of my life. I love love this machine. I cannot say enough. Get one you won’t regret it ... show more

  • Exceeded my expectations!
I have been looking at these types of home gyms for many years. One thing that kept me from purchasing any that I looked at what the flimsy feel of the frame. I’m 6’ 3” and weigh about 240 lbs. I didn’t felt that the gyms I tried in the past wouldn’t work well for me or last very long. The GR8FLEX gym however not only met but exceeded my expectations. It is a solid and robust piece of equipment. There is no flexing of the rails or supports when I use it. I was an amateur power lifter for many years and one concern that I previously had was not being sure if there was enough resistance on these types of gyms to give me a decent workout. Well I’m now 57 years old with a lot of joint injuries. Heavy weights and the old programs are out of the question for me. I was looking for a home gym that would provide me with a great workout without beating up my body further. Since the pandemic took the option of going to the local gym where I primarily used machines to weight lift on, this gym very nicely replaces multiple stations at the gym. The workout I designed for my home gym is awesome and there is plenty of resistance for me. I get a great workout that keeps me moving and in shape right in my home. I honestly don’t see myself ever returning to the local gym again. Would I use this home gym to get ready for a powerlifting meet when I was younger? No. But can one build and maintain muscle while also getting a cardio benefit? Absolutely. PROS: the gym comes ready to use. It was packed extremely well. When the box arrived, there were holes in the sides from handling during shipping. NOTHING inside the box was scratched or missing. Hats off to the manufacturers for that. The box weighs over 100 pounds so be prepared for that and have a plan to get it to where you will be using it. The gym itself is a solid piece of equipment. I have it set up in a space where I don’t have to move it. You will not need any tools to get the gym setup and ready to use. There are plenty of exercises to do on it. One huge bonus for me was the squat stand. It is high enough for me to use comfortably. Other gyms of this type have much shorter stands that would have caused knee issues for me. Another huge bonus is the extras you receive that would cost much more with other gyms of this type. Everything is included with the GR8FLEX gym. There is more than enough resistance to build muscle and strength. Being tall, I have no issues getting a full range of motion while performing all exercises. CONS: while the glide board moves smoothly, there is a thunk, thunk, thunk, feeling from the rollers of the glide board. It almost feels like the rollers have little flat spots on them. This doesn’t affect my workouts at all but a better roller could be had. Aside from that, the only other thing I would change would be to make the glide board another 3” or 4” longer on the bottom. I’m tall and have limited range in one knee due to a few surgeries so this issue is not a knock on the design. I get around this small issue by supporting the foot on my bad leg by stacking it on top of my right. A few more inches on the bottom of the board would help me. Others with normal knee ranges will have no issues. I have seen others comment on cables getting stuck in the pulleys. This isn’t a problem for me. Take your time when getting set up and just lightly pull the handles to get some tension on the cables before putting your full weight on the glide board. Overall I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The gym will replace a gym membership for me and allow me to continue to workout at home. ... show more

  • Great idea for those who have to maintain a flexible schedule/ not keep a regular gym routine!
It comes assembled and well packaged to prevent damage in shipping. Took more time getting the plastic of the bench/pad as the hardware underneath was screwed or bolted over it. Spent way more time on it than I wanted too. The main pin to adjust the elevation fits too tightly in the holes. I really have to pull and twist every time I want to adjust the incline. Just a couple annoyances but other than that it’s a great machine to have. Stows away easily and lots of different exercises you can do on it. Seems sturdy enough to last me a long time. ... show more

  • This thing is AWESOME!
I just got this on my front porch yesterday. It wasn't that difficult to assemble (the box it comes in is pretty heavy so you will need some help if you are carrying up or down stairs). After assembly, everything was intuitive on how to operate it. It is VERY smooth and glides really well. We are still discovering ways of using it and absolutely love it. Well made, looks good, works well. Can't be happier. I am 6 feet and have plenty of room between the top and the bottom of the machine to perform the exercises. I am relatively strong and find really good resistance around level 10, and the machine will let me go to level 15 and you can add 1 to 4 resistant bands after that, so there is plenty of room for us to add "weight" via gravity and resistance. It takes up some space, but worth it for us. We have it in our loft and plan on putting it behind a bedroom door when we have company over (it folds up and will stand on its end). For the price, we are extremely pleased. It comes with a TON of attachments and extra gear. If we have any issues, I'll review again, but for now, we are extremely pleased. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Amazing, Complete, Affordable well built full body exercise equipment
I bought this product in 2019 so I've used it for a while. This is one of the best Total Gym competitors out there at the price point it sells at, it is a call mplete system with a full array of attachments and even comes with a smartphone holder. When I bought it, it was a steal and the company I worked for always provided us with a $600 allowance to either join a gym or buy equipment, so it was no risk to me at all, but when I bought it, it was a steal at only $400, today I see it's at $698, but I would still buy it again. It is the only gym that I know that will ship to Hawaii and at that time it was free shipping, but with a $27 ship fee it's nothing, in Hawaii I would pay at least $300 for any bulk equipment shipping so makes this thing even more attractive. The only thing you don't get is an exercise chart, but I see you can pick one up for only $10, so it's not even an issue. All in all since 2019 till now 2023, I am very happy with Gr8Flex and wanted to thank the company for such a well built product at such an affordable price. ... show more
