    • Relatively inexpensive GPS drone that is easy to fly
I started to love this drone. I had no problem connecting to my iPhone. I like the screen on the controller. I love the lighting underneath on a dark night. I like that I could get 12 minutes or more on each battery. I liked that it was easy to control. Then at one point something inside the controller broke off? There is something rattling around inside. The result of which is that I no longer have a working drone. The controller doesn't connect to the drone anymore. Whatever broke inside the controller apparently effects that. Too bad, I was really staring to like this one. -----UPDATE---- Rovpro made good on my dead drone by standing by their product. They sent me a new drone exact same model. I fired this one up, and it works great. As I said in the initial review before it stopped working, I like the screen built into the controller. For $150 you get a GPS drone that knows where it is, where it started from, and can return to that exact spot. It is not SUPER precise, meaning it won't always land in the exact spot it took off from, but never more than 3-4 feet from it. Once it gets that close you can maneuver exactly where you want. I appreciate companies that stand by their products, and make good on something that is defective. This one is a step above the $50-75 drones. You can move the camera up and down, and you do get clear pictures and videos. This drone now deserves five stars and I would recommend if you're looking for a GPS drone in this price range. ... show more

    • Fun while it lasted!
The GPS drone arrived, well packaged, on time and defect free. The drone arrived packaged in a padded carrying case, complete with it's controller, two batteries for the drone, a charging cable, spare copter blades and a small screw driver. The instruction book, although fairly complete, was in a very small font, so reading the instructions was a bit difficult. After charging the controller and the two batteries, I started using the drone. I began with the easiest of settings, not initially engaging the camera or GPS. I was able to figure out the controls, they were quite intuitive, and after a few minutes of testing, the drone was flying around. The drone has a lights front and back, that flash initially, but once synched with the controller, stay on. The lights begin to flash again when the drone battery begins to die. After the first flight, I downloaded the camera software onto my cell phone, and started flying around with the second battery. Again, no issues initially, as I was practicing takeoffs and landings. I was flying the drone in bright sunlight, so I was unaware that the battery in drone was running low. When I did finally note a warning, it was too late. Instead of the drone landing when the battery was almost depleted, the drone took off gaining altitude, and then with seemingly a mind of it's own left my field of view. It would not respond to the controller at all. As I was trying to gain control, I heard the zone hit something in a neighbors yard, but so far, have not been able to locate it. It may turn up at some point, but for now is lost. For a beginners drone, it does work well, however, the fact that it simply took off when it's battery was depleted and lost communication with the controller is a negative. That plus the short battery life relates to the rating I gave it. It seems to be a good value for the money, but needs some modification to make it a truly excellent buy. ... show more

    • Fun drone
The instructions were not entirely clear (at least to me) and it took a while to get it all set up and responding. It's responsive to the extent that at first I found it to be a little difficult to control as it reacted so immediately and sensitively to my commands. The follow me feature is fun and I appreciate the recall command to have it land where it took off from. I could not find any information regarding the range of this product, which I find really odd. Because I have no idea, I'm paranoid about letting it fly too far away and don't let it get 100 feet away since somewhere in the instructions it said not to fly it at an elevation of more than 100 feet so I thought perhaps that was because it would lose contact with the controller if it went too high. Regardless, we've played with this about a half dozen times now and it has endured some heavy landings. Also, I really appreciate having the two batteries and we have had some great fun with it. ... show more

    • Fantastic drone that is better than the competition! Super fun too! Love it!
Right away I was seeing from my experience that this drone was better than most in this price range. This drone has done exactly what the manufacturer says it does, nothing more, and nothing less but does it well. It is easy to learn to fly it even if this will be your first drone experience. It will for sure be best to avoid an area with a bunch of trees and other high structures that must be navigated. One thing to consider and remember is if you are losing control or get anxious for a moment you can let go of the control sticks. The drone will then slow down and simply stop moving and begin to hover in place right where it is. This happens in ordee to allow the operator to regain their composure and get back behind the sticks, so to say. I'm very happy with the build quality of this drone and for its size has some decent weight. It's nice and solid but all while being highly portable and small enough to carry with or without the carrying case. The 4K camera is really good for both video and for taking pictures. My favorite two functions with this drone are return to home and follow me as they work very well and are very beneficial. There is no reason to waste money over and over on cheap drones that break or burn up motors instantly when they get hung up. I think most drones come with better than average controllers and so does this one. I think this drone will last much longer than those under $80 so the extra cost is definitely justified.
