  • Awesome
Awesome! I can really see the deer at night around our farm

  • Perfect for the backyard
They are pretty easy to use and work good for what we need out of them. Using these to spy on creatures in the backyard at night and they work perfect for such. Kids have been using them and seeing all kinds of animals. Been using them for like 50 yards max so far but work great for that distance.

  • These are really good
I've had various consumer grade night vision devices over the years, have used them in the fire service, and even went so far as to purchase a very expensive thermal camera from Flir on a whim. These are just as good vision wise as any of them. I'm really impressed with these. Using it's IR illuminator I can easily see someone walking around at 130 yards. I can't tell who it is, but I can tell you what they're wearing and how long their hair is. With the illuminator on high I can see nearly as well as in daylight at 400+ yards. It has three different color tints to the screen that you can choose. The standard night vision green color everyone is familiar with, an infrared color effect (which is kind of purplish), and just a regular color mode which after dark is just black and white. For best effect you'll want the green tint, and the difference is huge in viewing distance. I tried taking a few photos at night with it and video as well. The photos were not good at all but the video was surprisingly decent and pretty much exactly the same resolution/view as you see with the screen. You can not zoom in while taking videos with this camera. It does come with a micro SD card which is nice. The button layout is fine once you get used to it and easy enough to use in the dark. Everything seems to work as described and intended with the exception of the screen brightness. It says it has 7 levels, but I don't really notice much difference between 1 and 7. The big plus of this device is that it opens up the world of night vision at a really good price, and with very good performance too. If you've had older devices, or just want to see what night vision is like than this is absolutely perfect for you and I'm sure you will really enjoy it. The downside is that it is cheap looking and feeling. It does seem like a cheap pair of kids binoculars. I wouldn't expect these to take much abuse and I certainly wouldn't plan on them surviving even a small drop. They come with a neck strap, but there isn't a case to keep them in which is a shame. Overall I highly recommend these if you want to give night vision a try. I've been pleasantly surprised by these and I'm glad I got them. ... show more

  • Decent night vision binos
These night vision binos are exactly what you will get for the price point. They work decently well but they are not the best. They are lightweight and easy to use, but sometimes hard to get focus at night. They can get the job done if you are needing them for surveillance at night.

  • Only 8x but the clarity on these is actually really good and beats the iPhone
I had high expectations for these binoculars and while they are excellent and produce great quality, the zoom is only 8x. While an iPhone can possibly do better on the zoom, the clarity on these is actually really good and beats the iPhone. Night vision mode is in black and white, but it also beats the iPhone in clarity. It has a range of 985 feet. The build is durable and lightweight. I especially like the LCD viewer which makes it easy to view in the dark, or any lighting for that matter. I like that it is rechargeable via USB C. It comes with an SD card, which is a nice touch, and controls are very simple to use. Overall, this is a nice entry level set of binoculars, and great for viewing nearby objects. Clarity is very good, and I also give kudos to the easy of use video and photograph modes. ... show more

  • Decent night vision
I tested it out and it actually has pretty decent night vision for the price that you get it. You can see good detail several yards away

  • Not sure hot to feel about this device
The premise is nice. I’ve had night-vision monoculars before that worked well, but they were bulky and the battery always seemed to be dead when I wanted to use it. You don’t use this like normal binoculars, it has an LCD screen where the image is projected. So that means that you will be illuminated by the screen out in the dark, which sort of defeats the purpose of it being a stealthy night-vision device if you are lit up like a christmas tree. I also couldn’t seem to get it to focus. I turned the knob, but the image never came into focus. And the one time I tried to use it for night vision (indoors), I wasn’t sure how to use it. The good? It comes with a micro-SD card for storing images and movies. It’s an off brand, so I’m not sure I’d trust it for anything you want to keep. It’s lightweight and comes with a strap. The bad? It’s all plastic construction, so don’t think it will hold up over time. And it doesn’t come with any protective bag or case. just the strap and a cloth to wipe the lenses and screen off. Since it has an LCD screen, it’s not really good for being stealthy when trying to monitor wildlife. It will destroy your night vision and light up your face. Overall, a 3 star item because it’s pretty inexpensive. Good for someone just playing around and experimenting if they want to get into proper night vision gear. ... show more
