I was not sure what to expect when I ordered these based on how low the price was but I gave it a shot because Govee generally has good reputation with LED lighting. When I opened the box, I was really impressed with the build quality of all the components, nothing felt cheap, the cables are a heavy duty and well insulated for running inside a car.     • Best car lights ever
I've had these lights for 3-4 years now and they work like they are brand new. Just hide the wires and you car looks so upgraded and not tacky. The app that comes with these lights work like a charm and I'm noticing GOVEE is just a great brand. I also have other lights with them and they last forever. You're able to make your own color schemes with whatever speed you want them to change, you can make them blink, fade, bounce, whatever you want. There's a color wheel so you can choose whatever color you want. The ONLY issue is the adhesive. I can't remember how long the adhesive that came with it lasted as it was years ago but they eventually fell and I just bought my own roll of 3m tape and restuck them. But the product itself, adhesive not in play, is amazing and I've had them in my Nissan Versa, Nissan Altima, and Honda Accord. So that goes to show to show how well they fit in any car. Idk about trucks, but for cars the wire length, etc is great. Get these lights for sure and I never leave reviews so this goes to show. ... show more

    • Great Product, Bad Adhesive
Very good product, only issue I can list so far is that the adhesive is trash, I suggest getting some adhesive spray or using tape like I did. Other than that, I wish that you could turn off the red light that's on the car power supply that you have to plug in. Besides those two flaws, the Govee Car LED lights are really good for the price and the music sync works really well, I was surprised how good it syncs to the music. The app control and layout is also really neat and easy to use. The app gives a lot of customization and controls.     • Amazing car Lights for ambiance
The Govee car lights are an amazing addition to the car to help the ambience, especially in the night time. It took me a while to install but that was only due to the fact that there is little to no room under the seats. The adhesive on the lights and remote controller were okay, won’t hold on the long run so had to use the included zip ties. The build quality was good and connected to the phone fast. Very easy to use and the color options were great especially the feature to sync with music. ... show more

    • $16 Product Adding a $100+ Look
Wanted to add a new look to my 2018 Impala and this product killed it. The 4 different strips were easy to arrange inside my car under the seats in the back and below the dash by the feet area in the front. There was definitely enough wire length for an even bigger car as I had wire slack especially for the front two that I buried in the console panel. Hid the wires inside the sides of the console easily as well after pulled the console sides apart at the clips and mapped the wires through there. The cigarette adapter is located in the center armrest console and so I was easily able to put both the adapter and the control switch in there after using the ties included to condense the wire slack between the controller and adapter. The 3M adhesive stuck super well even though my back seats were harder than the front to find a solid strip of plastic to mount them to. I used a paint prep or alcohol wipe to properly clean the surface of the locations where I was mounting to and wiped it clean with a terry cloth towel to ensure the residue was gone and allow for a solid mount. The fact that there is also an app is a HUGE feature because it means I don’t have to open the center console when I want to change the light settings. It also allows you to change it from solid color to multi color as well as the music setting where it goes to music based on the mic reception. A nice feature of the app besides the ability to change the color, color mode, and turn them off, is that you can also change the mic sensitivity and the brightness of the lights. Absolutely amazing product for the price. Definitely makes it look like I spent $100+ on this project. The one and only con is that each time you turn it off either by turning the car off or by manually doing so, the color you last did or setting you last had it on is erased and so you have to choose the setting again when it is turned on. Another person also had this in their review and I agree. However, this is minimal and in no way takes away from how good this product is.
