We have many Govee products, and this is proof as to why. The Govee Floor Light is just beautiful. It is very minimalistic, can be placed just about anywhere and creates the most gorgeous accent light. It is perfect as additional room lighting, for creating a mood, celebrating holidays and events, or just for playing around with. The light reflects off of a wall, or best yet, a corner. This creates a glowing effect that is mesmerizing. The settings, themes and effects are almost limitless. There are tons of presets, and then you have the share function, and the DIY function. You can get themes/effects from other users and share your own, and also to create your own. We are now in fall and using the Halloween theme. It fits perfect with our Govee TV light with the same theme setting. Sitting around or watching TV, this light helps create a mood to fit your desires. I own several Govee products, and they are all amazing. Packaged and shipped with care, easy to use, their app makes everything work seamlessly, with many additional lighting themes and colors, and this lamp is no different. Classy and fun addition to any room for some atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I bought two of these for my office to help with lighting during early morning or evening hours. These lamps are not only pleasing to look at but are nice and bright. I love how many options you have for lighting with just the remote but you have even more options with the app. The only thing I wish you didn't HAVE to do is download the app to control them or have 2 lamps to be able to have them both on/off etc. That being said they are amazing lamps, super easy to put together & setup. I did both lamps, install the app & get each lamp setup on there within 45min to an hour. I'm sure we will be getting more Govee products in the future so having the app isn't too bad though I would prefer not to have an app just for lighting. ... show more

I originally purchased 1 of these. After how easy it was to install, and how bright it was, I purchased 2 more. They seem very sturdy, they work really well, and they are fun to change the vibe and colors of the room. They look very modern. I’m waiting for the price to drop to buy more!

    • Bright, Vibrant, and Stylish—But the Remote Falls Short

The Govee Floor Lamp 2 is a fantastic addition to any space. The LED lights are incredibly bright, vibrant, and customizable, allowing you to set the perfect mood whether you want warm whites or colorful RGB lighting. Assembly was also super easy, and I had it up and running in no time. However, the remote control system is where this product falls short. The included remote is very limited—you can only cycle through pre-set solid colors and adjust brightness. For a product with such advanced lighting features, I really wish there was a color wheel or more options directly on the remote to customize the RGB colors. Instead, you’re heavily reliant on the Govee app to unlock the lamp’s full potential. While the app works, it’s not the most user-friendly and can feel a bit confusing at times. For users who want quick and easy control, this can be a drawback. That said, once you get past the remote limitations, the Govee Floor Lamp 2 truly shines. The lighting quality is top-notch, it integrates well with Matter and Alexa, and it’s perfect for adding personality to your space. If Govee improves the remote functionality, this product would be flawless. Still, I’m very happy with the lamp overall and would recommend it for its style, brightness, and versatility. ... show more

This is an excellent light to brighten just about any space you'd like. It is a bit strange looking at first set up, but you quickly assimilate it into the must have it becomes due to the various lighting moods you can create. Solid materials comprise the components of this lightshow in a stick, with some weight to it to help ensure that the stance will be steady. The base brightens and gyrates light just like the stick part which makes the experience a total top to bottom light experience, up close. Then, expand those beads of light by simply moving the unit a bit forward to the wall/corner or back from such to create a palette with myriads of colors and color schemes. Connects to 2.4ghz Wi-Fi only [NOTE THAT!] or Blue Tooth. ALSO NOTE: You will have to put this together out of the box. I knew that going in as I read another person's review but honestly, it was not difficult at all. They even provided the screwdriver needed. Becareful once you're all done and it's built......if you go to lift it to move it to where you want it just know it is taller than you think when you lift it......watch out for those ceiling fan blades right above ya. Came with a remote but I also downloaded the Govee APP and that is what I use PLUS the APP has all the different scenes you can choose, etc. Very glad I did not spend the $270+ for the like item from HUE as I believe this is exactly the same thing and of equal quality! ... show more
