I bought this not for a dog but for mu chickens because we have foxes, coyotes, and many other small things that love chickens as much as we do lol. I think this would actually hold a large dog and easily small dogs. This was very easy but tedious which is ok as i figured that much. The biggest issue was they say no where in there your supposed to add the washers to every single bolt and nut so i got almost finished when my husband came home and realized for me that is normally how most people do it lol but honestly i followed the instructions to a T which is why i didn't realize that and it doesn't come with many extra screws or brackets so be careful of that other wise i would purchase again its exactly what i expected and exactly what is in the picture ... show more

    • This kennel has OVER a thousand parts!

I ordered the large kennel - the 118"x118"x70", Received it in two massive boxes. One of the boxes was 33lbs of various nuts, screws and other fasteners - I looked through the instructions and there was well over 1,000 fasteners! Opened the other box (which weighs 100lbs), and none of it is preassembled into manageable panels - every single piece is separate. I arranged a return and with some help was able to get this to our local UPS, but unless you can ship it freight, it will cost more to return it than the purchase price. The box of fasteners alone was $97 shipping via UPS Ground, so I ended up giving this away to an older lady who really needed it - I just hope she's got a crew of people willing to spend several days putting it together for her. $400 down the toilet. ... show more

Very sturdy and great size! Just make sure you have help putting it together!! There are many, many parts to this BUT it is a great option. I have a 65 lb Husky Mix and it is perfect for her to get some fresh air and have shade to do so.

This came super fast which was really nice. It came in pretty standard packaging and wasn't too heavy, my boyfriend could move it on his own. It was packed pretty well and it was easy to tell what parts were. The instructions were easy to follow and there are even spare parts to use later. The assembly was easy, but it did take a while. We used my boyfriend's impact driver (1/2in deep-well socket for anyone who's wondering) to make sure everything was nice and tight-they do provide a little wrench thing but that would have taken even longer. You will definitely need a powered drill of some kind for the little screws, they are self tapping sheet metal screws and those aren't easily going in by hand. The only thing I hated about this was the zip ties...there were so many lol They also look a little tacky and I don't like the possible sharp corners they leave once you cut them back. Eventually we plan to replace them with wire but that's a project for another day! I don't love the top cover, it's a little too wrinkly and lose but I think we will be able to figure out a way to make it a little tighter. We also didn't care for the chainlink part...DON'T touch the chain link until you are ready to use it. It likes to tangle and it's annoying to fix, so try to leave it alone until you need it lol Overall, we are happy with this and would recommend it-just make sure you have a free afternoon for assembly! ... show more

Instruction Manual stated it comes with gloves and wrenches to build it. Non of that came in the box. Didn’t have no screws or anything to even build it. Nor the top. Update- never mind yall, I’m just missing another box

The number of parts didn’t bother me what so ever. What did bother me is the quality. Of all the complaints I did not see any on quality. This thing is so cheap. I give it maybe a year before it falls apart. As is I had to make some changes to sure it up. It has so much flex I thought it was a body builder. Even the screws didn’t match the holes. (Meaning they were very small) Connection brackets are made of the thinnest metal they could find. It bends and bows with the slightest wind. If your dog is more the 40lbs you might wanna keep looking or dog gone. ... show more

I would not get this if you have a strong dog that can bust out of a wire crate. The wire is thin like a cheap metal dog crate. I don't know how well it will hold up. It will take 2 people several hours to put together. There are a lot of little parts to put together. It's also not very tall so if your dog can jump a fence easily I wouldn't get it. The parts are cheap and strip easily so just be careful when tightening down all the bolts at the end. Washers come with it but isn't on the parts list and it doesn't tell you in the directions where to use them but you put them on all the bolts you use. It came with lots of extra washers and bolts. We did have some parts and wires that came a little warped but not too bad. It was packaged well. There are so many ways the company could improve their product and make it a ton easier for us to put this together. UPDATE: Their customer service contacted me and they wanted to try to rectify the situation. They sent me replacement parts to try and see if I could replace the bent bars and maybe reinforce it but haven't figured out how to do it. I gave them an extra star because they did try to rectify the situation but it just didn't end up fixing it in the end because I don't know how I can add the new parts to it to make it stronger. ... show more

I never built it ..the gate felt very flimsy and would not hold my dogs. Returning was ridiculous but i agree to a partial credit and keeping it to sell privately. DO not get if you have bigger dogs ! small dogs would be much better suited
