For the price, this is actually a really good watch. The watch has kept really good time, in the 5 days that this one has owned it, it has gained about three seconds of time, it has not lost nor gained any minutes. After reading a few other reviews, this one decided to write up some easy instructions on setting an analog watch. This one hopes this will helps others if you are only use to interacting with digital devices. The watch does hack when you set the time. A hack on an analog watch means that when you pull the crown out, two clicks, the second hand stops. On some analog watchs, the second hand does not stop when the crown is pulled out. But on this watch, the second hand does, so you will want to wait until the seconds hand is exactly at 12 before pulling out the crown all the way out. Turn the crown clockwise until you have gone past the 12 mark, to identify if the watch is currently in the am or pm. When the day and date change, which will be after 12am, keep advancing until you are 1 or 2 minutes ahead of where you want to set the time. Then use your computer, tablet or phone that offers exact time that is synced to the internet for setting the time, so you can sync the seconds. If desired. When the time syncs, press the crown in one click. You are now in the day and date setting. The day and date set is easy. Twist the crown forward, away from you, to set the date. Then twist the crown backwards, towards you, to set the day. Keep on eye on the day, as it offers two languages, one in logographic characters, Kanji, and the other in English. If setting in English, make sure you stop on the desired day, ie. Mon. When the day and date are set, push the crown back in. Your done. Hope this helps others. ... show more

Watch is nice, but the band is not really that good. Sorry I can't bee more positive about this purchase. But would probably not recommend it.. Update - The band on this watch is terrible! Already falling apart. Not much glow on the face either.

The watch arrived as expected. I ordered the watch not only because of its look, but mainly for the water resistant claim. I have worn the watch in salt water, and in the rain. I have not had any issues with its performance at all. The band was a little stiff, so it took a few days of wear to get it to feel really good on my wrist. Overall, I would reccomend this watch to anyone that likes outdoor activities. ... show more

Changes day and date at seemingly random times. After resetting the day a few times, it became finicky responding to the stem. Date could still be set in one direction of the stem, but I'm now living Sunday on Saturday. Band is terrible. Find another cheap watch. It does tell time fairly well, gaining only a few seconds every day. It is easy to set. Pull out crown 2 clicks, wait for network time to catch up and press in the crown. Unfortunately, pressing in the crown bounced the minute hand about a half minute. Update: Day of week now displayed in Chinese characters. Even the date is a day off. This is definitely a men’s size watch. I love the look of it, but just wish it was a tad bit smaller to fit my tiny lady wrist. The watch face is almost the width of my entire wrist. And even on the tightest band setting, it’s still extremely loose on my arm. That being said, I still love the watch and still plan to wear it. Changing the clock hands and date was easy. It’s great quality for a little $20 watch. The main appeal for me was the medic military look - I wanted to wear a watch in remembrance of the veterans in my family and friend circle. Nice looking and not the greatest quality but you get what you pay for...not really a fan of the strap so replaced with a better quality nylon two piece I had laying around..the lume on the hands is crap of course..wasn't expecting much anyway...the crystal I thought was plastic at first but then tapped it with my ring and it is glass but very thin that it sounds like plastic.. overall for $17 it's just a beater I was curious about..il probly just end up banging it on something by accident and crack the glass but we'll see how it holds up.. ... show more
