However, as a customer I had to pay for returning the item, which cost me $20. The hoop is of the quality expected . Bolt mount was a little narrower than I needed so I slotted the bolt holes and it worked out great . So that is why there is only 4 stars and not 5

The first few days using the rim was great, it worked as a rim should. However, with each shot, the rim began to sag lower and lower. Less than a week later, the entire front half of the rim literally had a 90º angle to it. The weld point where the front half meets the halfway support is extremely weak, then add in that the rim is actually hollow inside and what you get is a very pathetic rim that didn't last a week ... show more

We received this today and my husband installed it for our teenage son and he’s loving it. My husband will build a backboard to mount this rim on in the near future.
