It features the best Pixel camera yet, with a telephoto lens and pro-level features like Macro Focus, Cinematic Blur, and more. Plus, it’s Pixel’s most refined design, made with recycled materials.[20] LEGAL [1]Compared to Pixel 6. Speed and power efficiency claims based on internal testing on pre- production devices. [2]Works with all major carriers. 5G service is carrier dependent. Requires a 5G data plan (sold separately). 5G service not available on all carrier networks or in all areas. Contact carrier for details. 5G service, speed, and performance depend on many factors, including carrier network capabilities and signal strength. Actual results may vary. Some features not available in all areas. Data rates may apply. See g.co/pixel/networkinfo for info. [3]For “over 24 hours”: Estimated battery life based on testing using a median Pixel user battery usage profile across a mix of talk, data, standby, and use of other features. Average battery life during testing was approximately 31 hours. Battery testing conducted on a major carrier network. For “Up to 72 hours”: Estimated battery life based on testing using a median Pixel user battery usage profile across a mix of talk, data, standby, and use of limited other features that are default in Extreme Battery Saver mode (which disables various features including 5G connectivity). Battery testing conducted on a major carrier network. For both claims: Battery testing conducted in California in mid 2022 on pre-production hardware and software using default settings, except that, for the “up to 72 hours” claim only, Extreme Battery Saver mode was enabled. Battery life depends upon many factors and usage of certain features will decrease battery life. Actual battery life may be lower. • Don't Worry About Benchmarks: This Phone is Amazing
Size: 256 GB Style: Phone Only Color: Snow
At a week into ownership, this is running Android 15, and my experience has been all positive. If you're at all concerned about Snapdragon vs Tensor 2 (among similar 2 to 3 generation old phones), don't be. Yes, on paper and in many reviews, you might be lead to believe that the Tensor 2 will never keep up with a Snapdragon phone. I'm not a gamer, and so while that may be true as it applies to A-list games, otherwise in real life usage, this Pixel 7 Pro is fantastic. The form factor, size, weight and build quality are perfect. The battery life is so much better than the Galaxy S21FE that this replaced, it's ridiculous (yes the S21FE has a new battery installed). The variable refresh rate screen not only looks amazing, but contributes to the superior battery life. Network performance (WiFi and 5G) are probably better than any other Android phone I've used. The on-screen fingerprint sensor, though often reported to be finicky, has worked fine for me. Photos look great, and not being a pro photographer, it takes good point and shoot pics. The camera bar on the back is said to scratch easily, but I picked up a case that had a raised lip around it. Problem solved. One other thing that's nice, is that being a Pixel from Google, you get one set of apps with the OS. No "other company" branded browser, gallery, messaging app, wallet, etc. With respect to customization, I have always had (and still do) Nova Launcher on my Android devices, and that suits me fine. Overall, for about $430 (as of Nov 2024), for a 256GB variant, brand new, I don't think you'll find a better phone. Keep in mind too, that all bands for all US carriers are supported (I'm on Mint Mobile), and the native Google Phone app supports visual voicemail (my Samsung did not). I'd absolutely buy it again, and once the Pixel 11 hits, I'll likely go to a Pixel 9. ... show more

  • Great upgrade from a Moto G power
Size: 256 GB Style: Phone Only Color: Obsidian
Prior to this phone, I used 3 models of Moto G power. I liked the fist two, but the 2023 model of Moto G Power went through massive amounts of battery in a short amount if time. It had connectivity issues and sometimes I would look down and see a video or music streaming on mobile data when it should have auto connected to WiFi. I am very security minded too so I don't use a ton of apps anyway, but I expect what I do have to work properly - particularly newpipe and signal app. Signal was working, but with delays in messages sometimes as long as 3 hours until I got a notification. This phone was a real step up for me in terms of price and I don't really know what a lot of the features mean without a hands on test drive. But I do know what pixel phones are compatible with grapheneOS, so minimally if there weren't any upgrades, I could at least have a privacy build. But I can tell you that it is faster, has a bigger screen, and has a waaaaay better camera than a moto, even though they are both rated at 50 megapixels, the telephoto lens is the winner. I have a 2nd son soon to be here and a quality camera, long battery life, and snappy messenger updates and connectivity are paramount. This phone so far is delivering the goods. I do have GrapheneOS installed too. The battery life, though GSMarena and other phone comparison sites show the moto as the winner on battery life. I can tell you it is not. The Pixel definitely is. I woke up at 6pm with 100% charge. Got to work at 7:48pm with 99% charge. I used the phone for several hours messaging my wife, and spending time on car enthusiast websites attempting to diagnose a 4l60e transmission torque converter clutch engagement issue. Then I streamed 3 hours of new retrowave/synthwave while I worked. Then I moved on to write this review. It is 4:53am and I have 44% charge and have had the backlight on at 55% this whole time. When I leave work I will stream more music and possibly hear again from my wife on voice call. She goes to work as I am coming home. On average I close the day out on 28% charge. None of my moto phones could ever do that. ... show more

  • A really nice phone, just too big for me.
Size: 128 GB Style: Phone Only Color: Obsidian
This is a really nice phone with excellent features and an outstanding camera. The camera has been especially useful for taking product images and the standard editing features are very useful and have helped me to produce some excellent photos. Unfortunately, it was just a bit too big to be comfortable for my hands and I've since traded it in in for the Pixel 9 pro which is slightly smaller. I've had pixel phones since the pixel 4A a came out and I love them. ... show more
