When I first opened the package, everything was in Spanish. Not really a big deal because everything is done on your phone. Had a lot of trouble with connecting to the TV. Kept getting an error message that said my phone "couldn't communicate with the chromecast". All I had to do was connect it to an outlet and to the back of the tv, connect to home wifi, click on my phone (movie) app, and I am able to project and watch my movie on the television screen.

Product works as expected but all the instructions are in Spanish? Luckily reading Spanish is pretty easy and it's not like a Chromecast is hard to set up.

    • Works OK. But product is for the spanish market and missing some accessories...
I was able to look online up how to do a factory reset this device and change the Chromecast setup to English. But that time and hassle should have given me a discount on the purchase, IMO. Also: package did NOT include a cable for the AC adapter. Nor did it include a chromecast remote, which is included in purchases for the cheaper "Chromecast with Google TV" version of this device. In the end, I would suggest that you purchase the Chromecast with Google TV device instead of this barebones chromecast device---it's a cheaper ($29.99) and a more complete package. ... show more

This product is amazing. Easy to install and operate. After initial connection to your network it is just a matter of following the displayed instructions. Works great with windows laptops and iPad iPhones. All my subscriptions cast to it. It is wonderful.
