I wanted to use this suitcase a few times before giving a review and I’ve had the opportunity to use it on 2 trips and I must say that I find the suitcase very useable and it fits my needs. I was able to pack about 2 weeks worth of clothes, shoes, a sweater, a coat, toiletries, and still had room for some papers and small knick-knacks. Even with all the clothes nd trickles, the duffle was not bursting at the seams. The construction seems to be of good quality and the material did keep my things dry from some light raindrops. The zippers feel sturdy and the fact that the top opens all the way, makes packing a breeze. I like the interior pocket at the top, as it makes it easy to store documents or flat items, for easy retrieval. The interior cinch straps keep the load secure and the exterior ones help compress it down, as well. The only thing I wish was that the interior straps were either longer or easier to tuck out while you pack because they tend to get lost inside and at the bottom of the clothes while you pack, and you have to fish them out to cinch them. The wheels are sturdy and could handle even cobblestone streets, stairs, and a little dirt and gravel. The duffle is light and easy to maneuver and the handles at the top and bottom of the duffle, as well as the side, make it easy to lift and fetch from any storage position. I did the gorilla trekking in Africa. This bag was perfect for my vacation. It is very sturdy ...solid telescopic pull handle ... solid wheels ...water proof ...stands up without falling ...and it is a slick and nice looking bag. I received a lot of compliments. My travel walking poles fit perfectly at the bottom of the bag as it does not have divided compartments. The opening is large so, it is easy to pack ...my cubes fit in perfectly. Also, I like the color ...very visible for pick up at the airport luggage claim area. The reason I give it a 4 star is because ... 1. ...I was not able to comment on 'durability' as I only used it for 2 weeks. My guess is that this bag will last for many years. 2. ...there are only 2 handles ...one at the wheels base and the other at the opposite end of the wheels. These handles are handy when you put your bag in a vehicle or on a bench. The handle opposite the wheels is not ergonomically friendly for short people. I am only 5' 2", so it was difficult to carry the bag when using stairs. A handle on the side of the bag (not on top) would have been easier for me to carry the bag. Anyway it is not a game changer. Definitely feels waterproof, easy to load because the top opens all the way, narrow profile so easy to move through a crowd. And love not having yet another black bag - green is subtle but easy to spot on the baggage loop. Only 1 trip so far but seems very promising!

    • Amazing bag for rough use! Worth every penny.

I'm a big guy (wear size 2x-3x) and I work in the oilfield (very rough environment) away from home for 2 weeks at a time. I literally live out of a bag in hotel rooms 2/3 of the time. I've had dozens of bags trying to find one that really works for what I need and I absolutely love this bag! It's durable, water resistant, big, easy to use, and made with genuine use in mind. Like I said, I wear big clothes and I have to pack for 2 weeks of clothes at a time. I can fit all my shirts, shorts, pants, toiletry bag, socks, underwear, chargers, and other essentials all in this bag and 1: it all fits (snugly, which I like) and 2: the bag doesn't feel like it's screaming for mercy. If you've got extra room, you can snug down the exterior straps and everything stays put. I genuinely can't express how happy I've been with this bag so far ( roughly 3 months of constant, heavy use). The wheels are softish rubber so they roll smooth and don't jolt the bag going up/down stairs or over curbs. The carry handle is attached through the hard plastic sidewall for extra support. The extendable handle is sturdy and smooth. Everything detail was thought about and addressed. My last bag was swiss and I THOUGHT they had good build quality. It started to fall apart immediately. This bag has taken every hit and kept on trucking like nothing happened. If you're looking for a serious bag that will hold up, I can't recommend this enough. I purchased this bag a year and a half ago, and I also purchased the Asurion insurance protection plan for it. This luggage piece is durable, attractive, and stands up on its own. It has traveled to multiple locations in Europe on two separate occasions, to Mexico multiple times, Hawaii, and many places around the USA, being handled by the often careless airline baggage loaders. It never ceases to amaze me how well it endures the abuse. Recently, the zipper pull tab got caught in the baggage claim conveyor belt and was torn off, making that zippered compartment completely useless.
