This cover is a replacement for the one I bought 2 years ago. It wore out, as do all mallet putter covers I have owned, but at least it fits the somewhat larger Ping mallet (a tail bump sticks out to the rear a little) and has a strong magnet for 1: closing the cover, 2: hanging on the face of an iron in the bag while I putt and 3: picking it up when I drop it on the ground by putting the club onto the magnet. Fits my Spider putter nicely. Haven't used it on the course yet but can already see the magnetic closure is stronger than the Velcro one on the cover that came with the putter. That cover kept falling off and I'd have to back track on the course to get it. Hopefully it won't happen with this one - doesn't look like it will. Nice looking! ... show more
