Super inexpensive way to add a little customization to your golf cart. This steering wheel along with a compatible steering column adapter are a perfect way to start customizing your golf cart. Literally takes five minutes to swap out. The hardest part is removing the old steering wheel. Once you’ve unscrewed the nut it takes a little muscle but you wanna pull straight back towards you on the old steering wheel as hard as you can and it will finally release. This adapter is needed when you are replacing the steering wheel on your Yamaha golf cart. (Check model as well). Easily slips on steering column to allow for correct installation of a new steering wheel.

Fit perfectly and easy to install. Hardest part was removing old steering wheel. Tried hitting with a plastic dead blow mallet but it would not budge. Googled it and saw a guy grab the old wheel at 3 and 9 o'clock and he started to wiggle it and pull it towards himself. I thought that would not work, seeing as how hard I had hit it with the mallet - but amazingly it worked like a charm. After that the install was easy. Make sure you line it up right with the wheels straight and the steering wheel aligned correctly when installing. I would suggest connecting the steering wheel to the adapter with two screws (hand tight), then line up and slide the adapter onto the shaft, then remove steering wheel to install the nut that holds the adapter in place, and then reinstall the steering wheel securely with all the mounting screws. When you order an adapter, make sure you order the right kind. check to see if the steering shaft is a hexagon or a spline. You may have to pull the old steering wheel off the shaft before ordering the adapter so you will know which adapter to order. This adapter is a nice aluminum black adapter. Along with the adapter, I order a nice steering wheel to go with it. Improved my cart 100% in looks. ... show more
