I thought about getting a smart watch, but I don't really need one and I don't want to pay the price, and I don't want the hassle. This watch is perfect for what I wanted. It looks great. It is thinner than my old watch, and I can see the numbers FAR easier. I am really over the dark grey numbers on a light grey background for digital watches. The gold letters on the black background stand out in low light or sunlight. The night time illumination could be a little bit brighter, but is not bad. I put a metal band on mine because I don't like buckles. If you are old enough to remember when the first digital watches came out, I believe you will love this one. ... show more

I used to wear a watch a few years ago, but after my last one broke during the pandemic I just didn't replace it and didn't wear one for a while. I had to wear a FitBit for a research study and it made me realize again just how convenient it is. I started looking for an inexpensive one with a slim watch head, since I didn't want a bulky watch getting caught on everything. I was a bit hesitant to get this watch since there were numerous reviews about condensation getting inside the glass after being in water, making it unreadable. Although I haven't gone swimming with it, I do keep it on in the shower, and I haven't had any condensation at all. My guess is that a particular production block had a manufacturing flaw and it's since been fixed. The watch head is about 9mm thick which is probably the thinnest you can get with this price and quality. The rubber watch band is comfortable, my only complaint would be the metal buckle digs a little, but it's not that bad. The face looks classy, and the light is nice and bright. Overall, I love it and would definitely recommend if you're looking for a cheap watch that looks and feels nice. ... show more

I originally purchased this watch for work. I see up to 30 patients a day and need to use the stopwatch on a regular basis to track procedure times. the watch is super lightweight and slim and I have found myself wearing this timepiece outside of work much more often than I originally planned. I am on my second watch and will continue to buy more as common wear and tear on the watch occurs highly recommend especially at this price point note - I usually get the white watch with white band - the band is very comfortable but the band does get discolored fairly easily and quickly. I have purchased the black face with black band and the black face with the red band and these bands seem to hold up better ... show more

Got it for a change, so I could see the info and the date. It is comfortable and convenient. Dark gray so I don't attract sharks. I'm not afraid of them, but don't invite accidents by having silver flashing on my arm. Real issue; from where I live, the ocean is just over there and I like being able to see the time when I'm in the water. I don’t usually buy digital watches but I lost mine and decided I would give this one a try, hoping to find my regular watch and use this when I worked in the yard. Setting the time was a challenge but I wrote my own directions instead of the ones that came with the watch. The best thing about the watch to me is the watch band. I usually wear a metal flexible band that is too big and is half way up my arm so that it won’t slide. If the band is much smaller, it won’t go over my hand. The notches on the band are close enough that I can get a good fit where I want it to be. I wore it to bed one night and the alarm went off during the night. I figured if the watch didn’t tick, I could wear it at night. I was wrong. I am happy with my purchase. ... show more

My previous similar watch like this one served me well for years, so I gave this one a try. It has thinness and large font size for easy visibility during dynamic exercise. However, after about 2 months into using this watch weekly both in and out of water, one 1/2-hr swim killed it. The display started faltering and then it went blank altogether. I purchased this watch for my daughter to take to summer camp. It was pretty easy to program and she said it was easy to use. It was light and very durable, she rarely took it off. It survived the lake, showers, and tons of sports. It also still looks white after a summer of sunscreen and abuse. This was a very good price and I was very pleased at its performance.
