I purchased this product skeptical but, as many of us do, decided to give it a try once. I applied the lotion. It went on smooth and did not feel greasy. I slept with it on. In the morning I took a shower and could feel the texture of my skin with the protective lotion gently being removed from my skin in the shower. I was shocked to feel the softness of my skin and the lotion actually continuing to moisturize my skin in the shower. I am in my senior years and beginning to have that crepe skin. I wanted this to work. But the truth is, it did absolutely nothing for the crepey skin on my arms. I will probably buy it again, just because the moisturizing properties are that good. I put it on at night, and in the morning, you can still feel the moisture in your skin. But my crepe is still there, noticeable as ever. Ok. I'm also old and these reviews people thinking they are going to get a miracle lotion for $8.99 is ridiculous. This product is great for dry skin and it does help reduce the crepe look by smoothing out the skin with rehydration. It's not a cure. Sure go ahead and spend $100 on retinol that is just a glorified body or face lotion. Another product marketed toward us boomers that doesn't work either. I mix the gold bond with my favorite cologne to tone down the strength of the fragrance. I use an empty plastic gummy container a perfect size for holding an 8oz tube of GB and about 10 sprays of cologne. Mixes well with the GB. I use it after shower or a shave. Multiple containers can be used for multiple scent of the day. ... show more

Needless to say, any woman over fifty has noticed changes in the texture of her skin. And as she approaches sixty, that texture starts to look like a party streamer.......like crepe paper!!! Its really a shock when it happens. I'm 74 so it started happening quite a while ago but for many years it was something I could kind of ignore. I still wore sleeveless tops and I'd even put some shorts on once in a while. But then things changed, and not for the better. The crepe was becoming so visible that I started wanting to "cover up". Suddenly I was covering my arms, even when the weather was hot. And the shorts all went in the trash. I'd see all these commercials on TV.....especially those long ones with elaborate explanations of how the products work, and of course the before and after pictures that showed a grandmother suddenly looking like her granddaughter. I'd be interested, and ready to call in an order, but my good sense told me to check out the reviews, most of which were mixed, at best. Plus, the products were all quite expensive. Then I saw an ad that was short, simple, and too the point. I looked for it on Amazon and, because it was very affordable, and because I was familiar with the brand name, I decided to try it. The container's not fancy, and the fragrance isn't special, but, believe it or not, it actually works!!! I'm not saying it erased all the crepieness, but it definitely given my skin a smoother appearance. I put it on after showering and my skin just looks smoother.......the sagging under my arms is still there, but the skin isn't wrinkley, and that's a pretty good result. So, overall, I would recommend this product. Its affordable and effective. The results are "permanent" but they're good enough to have me going sleeveless again! ... show more
