The part work very well, the ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars vs 5 stars is the hole has a little bracket that screws in and out, and when you bring the drill back out you need to screw them back down. Not a big deal, but takes time when you are drilling a lot of holes. Over all the part work very well, I didn't use the drill bit that it came with, but tried it out and it worked well, I used one I had, the stop that it comes with once you lock it down works very well. I tried other stops on my drill bit and they all slipped, but NOT the one that the Jig came with. Very nice. I've owned other jigs, but this is the only one I will use. It's easy to use and most importantly, it's accurate. My many other jigs all had the same issues. The holes were always too big because of the cheap drill bits they supplied.

The only inconvenience, is that the package does not include the right drill bits. They are 1/4 inch as the pegs provided are smaller. I had to find the right size drill bit for the small pegs.

This is a "must have" for anyone constructing cabinetry with shelf pins! The product is extremely well made (aluminum base and steel guides) rather than the more common plastic jigs. Very accurate, durable, easy to use and adjustable for different inset distances for the pegs. Everything you need for a shelf pin project is included and contained in a case so you won't lose any important parts. The amount of time I saved building several shelving units more than paid for the cost of this jig. Just wish I would have had this jig years ago for other similar (time-consuming) shelving projects. ... show more

I have yet to use this jig, but on initial inspection it is well made and no doubt will withstand a lot of use. The machining of the threads was rough on the one I received, but after screwing in the guides a couple times the operation became smoother. Probably lack of cleanup after anodizing left in the threads. Other than that it looks like it will be useful and longer lasting than many of the plastic jigs out there. ... show more

I was going to buy the kreg jig but found this one and I'm glad I did. This thing exudes quality. Its milled with sharp lines and feels solid in your hands. Has many positioning options. It also comes in a case which isn't a bad thing. The only thing which I can nitpick about is that it would've been nice to come with a metric and imperial set of bits and holes. ... show more
