This is a really nice little kit, much less hassle than others I've used. The little card, the way you don't have to mix them, the fast processing time, it's really easy and so fast. Dark brown looks good so far, not too brassy or too cool - it's a few shades darker than my hair, which is perfect. I have used Godfrey brand in the past and was very happy. They have stopped the one i used to use. They had powder and developer. So this package comes with several packets with 2 little packages and a card to squeeze them on to. One side for the color and one side the developer. When you tear the packet it g ets all over your fingers. It's kind of like a ketchup packet and you squeeze it from the bottom. Then you have to do a second one and it also gets all over your hands. The old package had an eyebrow tool. Kind of like a brush that you would apply a powdered brow clolor. This new one has a tiny plastic applicator. The earlier one mixed the color and developer and you applied it at one time for just a few minutes. This new one makes you put the color on, wipe it off and then ad the developer and wipe it off. My eyebrows do not show any tint. I'm very disappointed. I was going to do it a second time to see if I could get more color but my eyebrows feel itchy. That might just be me though ... show more

Update: I just don't have the results I used to have with this eyebrow color. I follow the instructions, take my time, and still the results are patchy. As well, it doesn't last at all. One box even came with only two applications - one missing - was it a return? I'm giving up on this eyebrow color. Just not doing it for me any longer. --------------- This is so much better than the powder capsules I used to use. I did not like having to mix the powder and my results weren't as good, and as well, didn't last as long. Put petroleum jelly on the areas above and below your eyebrows -- I did this but the little applicator they provided gave me such a precise application that I didn't have any worries about staining where I didn't want the color to stain--I took my time and was careful and I suggest you do that too; do this when you have a little time to color your eyebrows and aren't in a hurry, though it doesn't take very long all total. You apply the eyebrow color cream first, let it sit 2 minutes, blot excess 'dry,' and then apply the developer and leave that for one minute, and then wipe with a damp cloth or tissue/paper towel. Better to do one eyebrow at a time as they suggest so they both get the same developing time. This is more potent than the powder capsules, so note that. I have the medium brown and I left it on only for the two minutes/1 minute and my brows were dark enough. It seems to stain the skin underneath but if so it looked good and I was happy with my results. So I caution you not to leave it on too long the first time you do it--you can always reapply for darker results if necessary. It's been 5 days and my brows still look good. I do notice some of it is wearing away but I also used oil cleanser a few times and that likely is why some is wearing away. However, my brows still look good and I have not had to use any eyebrow color for this entire time. I don't think it'll last 4 weeks but even a week or two would be great not to have to color in my baby fine brows every day! Especially if I'm busy, or have to travel, or a situation where I just don't have much time. I'm happy with my order and will order again when this runs out. This product works nicely to darken eyebrows, but I have a couple of rogue gray brow hairs, and it doesn't work on those. I dye my eyebrows dark because I'm naturally blonde and if I don't, my eyebrows disappear. Usually I use the "just for men" beard and mustache dye but tried this instead. First - and this is not the fault of the product - I am apparently slightly allergic as 2 days after the application my eyebrows became itchy and reddened. More importantly, I followed the instructions to the letter and the part of my eyebrow that is closest to my eye (the thickest part) came out with these weird dark little spots that looked horrible which made me have to go back over it with the "just for men" stuff.
