Just a note that it dyes the skin underneath and highlighted how crooked my eyebrows were to begin with lol it said leave 5-6 minutes to dye the skin underneath but if you apply alot it will happen after a minute or 2. To tint my eyebrows, I usually use the godefroy tint kit for gray hairs. You mix the capsule and the cream together in a little cup and it works perfectly. I do it once a week because NONE of these products truly last as long as they claim to. Anyway, I ran out and forgot to order more. I couldn’t get it here in time. So, I ordered this instead because it would arrive in time. I followed the instructions exactly. Not only did it not work (at ALL), it must have burned the skin under my eyebrows because, afterwards, I used the regular kit I usually use (I had some dark brown capsules - I usually use medium brown - so I figured that’s better than nothing). That wouldn’t work either! Nothing! I just went through this process twice and my eyebrows look lighter and more sparse than when I started. DO NOT BUY THIS. I strongly recommend the godefroy tint kit for gray hairs - I use this on my eyebrows once a week and it works flawlessly. I’m incredibly disappointed and will be asking for my money back. I’ve been using this for almost three years and it’s great. So easy to use, I follow the directions and the timing to a T. The first day looks a bit intense but then it calms down and I have full perfectly brown brows. I tried getting my brows done at benefit for $35 and it looked awful! This is so much better cheaper faster and easier. If you’re scared to use at first just leave dye on for half the time they say. Great product ... show more

Update: I just don't have the results I used to have with this eyebrow color. I follow the instructions, take my time, and still the results are patchy. As well, it doesn't last at all. One box even came with only two applications - one missing - was it a return? I'm giving up on this eyebrow color. Just not doing it for me any longer. --------------- This is so much better than the powder capsules I used to use. I did not like having to mix the powder and my results weren't as good, and as well, didn't last as long. Put petroleum jelly on the areas above and below your eyebrows -- I did this but the little applicator they provided gave me such a precise application that I didn't have any worries about staining where I didn't want the color to stain--I took my time and was careful and I suggest you do that too; do this when you have a little time to color your eyebrows and aren't in a hurry, though it doesn't take very long all total. You apply the eyebrow color cream first, let it sit 2 minutes, blot excess 'dry,' and then apply the developer and leave that for one minute, and then wipe with a damp cloth or tissue/paper towel. Better to do one eyebrow at a time as they suggest so they both get the same developing time. This is more potent than the powder capsules, so note that. I have the medium brown and I left it on only for the two minutes/1 minute and my brows were dark enough. It seems to stain the skin underneath but if so it looked good and I was happy with my results. So I caution you not to leave it on too long the first time you do it--you can always reapply for darker results if necessary. It's been 5 days and my brows still look good. I do notice some of it is wearing away but I also used oil cleanser a few times and that likely is why some is wearing away. However, my brows still look good and I have not had to use any eyebrow color for this entire time. I don't think it'll last 4 weeks but even a week or two would be great not to have to color in my baby fine brows every day! Especially if I'm busy, or have to travel, or a situation where I just don't have much time. I'm happy with my order and will order again when this runs out. I dye my eyebrows dark because I'm naturally blonde and if I don't, my eyebrows disappear. Usually I use the "just for men" beard and mustache dye but tried this instead. First - and this is not the fault of the product - I am apparently slightly allergic as 2 days after the application my eyebrows became itchy and reddened. More importantly, I followed the instructions to the letter and the part of my eyebrow that is closest to my eye (the thickest part) came out with these weird dark little spots that looked horrible which made me have to go back over it with the "just for men" stuff.
