I absolutely loved these lamp shades - I bought 3 of them for our kitchen ceiling to be used with a plug-in light fixture kit I also bought on Amazon. They're gorgeous to look at with the light on and off, solidly constructed, and look quite high-end. The reason I had to return them is that even though the opening at the top is large enough to fit a standard E26 socket, the rim is very thick, so when I inserted the socket, it didn't stick out enough on the inside to secure it with the socket ring that screws on from the inside. This might not be an issue with other light fixtures and may have been unique to the one I used - just be mindful of that when you choose this. ... show more

This glass lampshade is much thinner than I would have imagined. It seems mass produced and not hand blown. It would easily break if dropped from any distance. Doesn’t come with any kind of threading just a lip for hanging which is sharp to the touch. Not pleased with how much it costs but it does still look nice when all is said and done. ... show more
